First Grand Prize:
One (1) first Grand Prize (“First Grand Prize”) is available to be won, consisting of:
(a) an invitation for First Grand Prize Winner and one (1) Guest to Norwegian Prima’s inaugural sailing from Galveston, Texas on October 27 to 31, 2022 where the Norwegian Giving Joy 2022 Award Ceremony will take place. This portion of the prize includes:
(i) round-trip coach-class airfare for First Grand Prize Winner and a Guest departing from a major airport located near the First Grand Prize Winner’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Galveston, Texas;
(ii) round-trip ground transfers from the airport to the hotel to the cruise port;
(iii) one (1) night hotel accommodation on October 26, 2022 (as selected by the Sponsor in its sole discretion) in a standard room based on double occupancy, including breakfast, taxes and fees; and
(iv) a 5-day cruise for First Grand Prize Winner and his/her Guest on Norwegian Prima’s inaugural sailing from Galveston, Texas from October 27 to 31, 2022, inclusive of F&B, WIFI, and other amenities provided to inaugural guests. Norwegian’s Giving Joy 2022 Award Ceremony will be held aboard Norwegian Prima during the inaugural sailing.
(b) a 7-night cruise certificate for First Grand Prize Winner and one (1) guest valid for sailings originating from the U.S. and Canada, including voyage fare, gratuities, taxes, fees, and service charges ; and
(c) a $25,000.00 USD donation made by the Sponsor to the school the First Grand Prize Winner is employed at (the “First Grand Prize Award”).
The ARV of the First Grand Prize is $33,750 USD. The ARV of the First Grand Prize excluding the First Grand Prize Award is $8,750 USD.
Second Grand Prize:
One (1) second Grand Prize (“Second Grand Prize”) is available to be won, consisting of:
(a) an invitation for Second Grand Prize Winner and one (1) Guest to Norwegian Prima’s inaugural sailing from Galveston, Texas on October 27 to 31, 2022 where the Norwegian Giving Joy 2022 Award Ceremony will take place. This portion of the prize includes:

Third Grand Prize:
One (1) third Grand Prize (“Third Grand Prize”) is available to be won, consisting of:
(a) an invitation for Third Grand Prize Winner and one (1) Guest to Norwegian Prima’s inaugural sailing from Galveston, Texas on October 27 to 31, 2022 where the Norwegian Giving Joy 2022 Award Ceremony will take place. This portion of the prize includes:

Ninety-seven (97) Finalist prizes (each, a "Finalist Prize") are available to be won, each consisting of an invitation for Finalist and one (1) guest who is at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older (“Guest”) to Norwegian Prima’s inaugural sailing from Galveston, Texas on October 27 to 31, 2022 where the Norwegian Giving Joy 2022 Award Ceremony will take place. Each Finalist Prize includes:
(i) round-trip coach-class airfare for Finalist and a Guest departing from a major airport located near the Finalist’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Galveston, Texas;
(ii) round-trip ground transfers from the airport to the hotel to the cruise port;
(iii) one (1) night hotel accommodation on October 26, 2022 (as selected by the Sponsor in its sole discretion) in a standard room based on double occupancy, including breakfast, taxes and fees; and
(iv) a 5-day cruise for Finalist and his/her Guest on Norwegian Prima’s inaugural sailing from Galveston, Texas from October 27 to 31, 2022, inclusive of F&B, WIFI, and other amenities provided to inaugural guests. Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Finalist Prize is $1,250 USD. Total ARV of all Finalist Prizes is $121,250 USD.

Rules
Must be a current legal resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) or the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico), who is at least thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of submitting your nomination, unless you are nominating yourself as a Nominee, in which case you must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older to be a Nominee.
Limit: There is no limit to the number of individuals that a Nominator can nominate, but any Nominator may only nominate the same individual once.

c) an accredited teacher currently employed at a Public or Private elementary school, middle school, high school, or an accredited university or college in Canada (excluding Quebec) or the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico) (a “Nominee”).
A Nominator may nominate themselves as a Nominee.
Provide your essay nomination (up to 1,250 characters) describing why the Nominee deserves to win one of the Grand Prize Awards (as defined below). The essay should include answers to one or more of the following questions:
i. How has the Nominee gone above and beyond to make a lasting impact on his or her students’ lives?
ii. How does the Nominee inspire his or her students to be the best they can be?
iii. What else can you share about the Nominee that makes him or her an exceptional teacher?
c) Upload a photograph of the Nominee (your essay nomination, together with a photograph, herein, a “Submission”); and
d) Check the box confirming that you have read and agree to abide by the Official Rules and that you have permission of the Nominee to be included in your Submission.
