Members, I have been talking with different security companies about the pop-up ads that contain viruses or mal**wares. This is a download through the browser and likely through Google Chrome and other factors like who your hosting company is.
The download is called - (FlipGrip) with an extension of (.exe).
In Windows, and look in the Search Bar - "Search Results in this PC" then type in the search section - (FlipGrip).
The search might take 30 minutes or longer. If it hits, you will see the FlipGrip with a (date) then .exe. Delete this file and don't attempt to open it.
I have no idea how anyone acquired this file. Possible through a sweep that was hacked but again, I don't know.
There could be another file that is causing the problem and I am still checking. This is a pain for everyone and I will get to the bottom of this.
This FlipGrip file has a way to bypass some virus protections programs. Also, they may have multiple versions of its name.
