Award Package consists of the following:
Seven nights of lodging at various hotels within the Wyndham portfolio (one room per night), provided in the form of Wyndham Rewards points deposited into the winning Entrant’s Wyndham Rewards account prior to the trip. The number of points awarded is based on the Wyndham Rewards® redemption rate at the selected hotel, which may vary by location and brand (approximate retail value $1,400 USD).
$15,000 USD paid to the winning Entrant.
$5,000 USD paid to the winning Entrant, to cover travel related expenses excluding lodging (two roundtrip economy airfare tickets, one economy or compact car rental for eight days, gas, tolls, daily meals, and activities), in connection with the Contest Travel to fulfill the winning Entrant’s obligations;
Wyndham Rewards Diamond level status upgrade for one year for both members of the Entrant Pair.
Wyndham branded swag for both the winning Entrant Pair will be provided, with a total approximate retail value of $200 USD.
Total award package has an ARV of $21,600 USD.

Entrant and Accompanying Participant must be legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or Guam and possess a valid form of government-issued identification (e.g., U.S. passport or state-issued ID) throughout the duration of the travel period and through December 31, 2026. Entrant must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Entries are limited to one per Entrant.

Submit one entry on behalf of yourself and identifying an Accompanying Participant who is either your grandparent or a grandparent-like figure in your life, and together with the Participant, the “Entrant Pair”). Both Entrant and Accompanying Participant must be at least 18 years of age.

Short Video via Email: The video must be an original video featuring the Entrant or Entrant Pair. Applicants should describe the relationship between the Entrant Pair (e.g., grandparent and grandchild) and explain why they want to take this Route 66 trip together and what the experience would mean to them. Video may be submitted as either a) an email attachment (recommended format is MP4 and under 20MB in size) or b) a publicly accessible link via DropBox, BOX, OneDrive or similar service.

Short Essay via Email: During the Contest Period, Entrants may send a short essay via email to roadtrip@wyndham.com. The submission should describe the relationship between the Entrant Pair (e.g., grandparent and grandchild) and explain why they want to take this Route 66 trip together and what the experience would mean to them. The short essay must be a minimum of 50 words. Entrants submitting a written essay must include an original, high-resolution photo of themselves and the Accompanying Participant with whom they are entering.
