Prize Details

Grand Prize Award (maximum 1 prize award): The eligible entrant designated as a grand prize winner shall be awarded a 4-day, 3-night trip for two (winner and one (1) guest, age 18 or older) to Sicily, Italy. Travel dates shall be solely determined and designated by Sponsor, and all travel must be completed by 4/30/2026, and subject to change based upon availability. The grand prize trip for two (2) has a maximum retail value not to exceed $7,500, and includes:

Roundtrip coach-class airfare for winner and one (1) guest (18 years of age or older) from the nearest major metro airport to the winner’s home to Sicily, Italy. Airline, class of service, and departure/arrival airports as solely determined and designated by Sponsor and subject to availability;

Three (3) nights in a standard double-occupancy hotel in the greater Catania, Noto, or Syracuse, Italy metro area. Hotel and dates of stay as solely determined and designated by Sponsor based upon availability;

One (1) epicurean experience for the winner and one (1) guest (18 years of age or older). Experience date, time, and location within Sicily, Italy as solely determined and designated by Sponsor, subject to availability;

$1,000.00 awarded in the form of a prize check issued to the grand prize winner in the amount of $1,000.00.

The grand prize award has a maximum approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $7,500.

Rules

Open only to legal residents of the (50) U.S. and D.C., who are age 18 or older as of date of entry, are an accredited professional chef, and have a valid driver’s license or government issued photo ID.

Maximum of one (1) total entry per person, email address, or Instagram account.

Submit either an essay (minimum 150 words, maximum 300 words) or video (maximum 15 seconds) you create that shares a time you took the tough route, made hard choices you’re proud of, and put in the effort because you believed it would lead to something better.
