Open to legal residents of the USA who are at least eighteen years of age or the age of majority, whichever is older, in their respective states of permanent residence at the time of entry. In addition, the nominated person must be an active-duty military or a retired military veteran at time of entry. Nominators are not eligible for the Prize unless they are nominating themselves and they comply with the eligibility requirements herein.
