One Grand Prize will be offered. The Grand Prize consists of a check for $5,000.00 to be used for academic purposes, such as school tuition or school supplies, an author-signed copy of ANGER IS A GIFT, and the winning essay will be published in full or in part in Teen Ink magazine.

The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $5,017.99 USD.

Open only to persons who as of the date of entry (and, if a winner, as of the date of prize fulfillment) are a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and who are 13 years of age or older.

There is a limit of one entry per person and per email address.

To enter the Contest, during the Entry Period, each entrant must write an essay that is about how anger has been a gift in their lives (a “Submission”). The Submission must be a minimum of 300 words and should not exceed a maximum of 500 words.
