On this Memorial Day weekend, I offer remembrance of all of those gave the ultimate sacrifice to defend this great country and those who are defending our cherished freedoms we enjoy today. Nearly all of you have had family member, loved one or friends who have served in the military with distinction on foreign soil and or in uniform at home. This includes my late father who served in 2 wars, and all of my uncles.
To the active members of our military, your courage and sacrifices are not forgotten upon the rest of this great nation that your service is job that is 24 hours a day. Thank you.
I thank all men and women for your service in keeping United States the great country that it is.
