Prize Details

(1) GRAND PRIZE: A 60” Samsung TV valued at approximately $2,500 and $1,000 that may be used for catering for a party. Sponsor reserves the right to award this prize as a gift card, Sponsor will also provide a corporate check in the amount of $1,500 which is intended to help offset any federal or state tax obligations related to the acceptance of this prize.

The retail value of the prize is $5,000.

Contest is open only to legal residents of the (50) United States including the District of Columbia who are at least (21) years old at the time of entry.

Limit: Each entrant may Tweet (1) time during the Contest Period. Submissions received from any person or Twitter account in excess of the stated limit will be void.

How to Enter: You will need to use your Twitter account to participate. Creating a Twitter account is free, but is subject to its terms of service. Your account settings must be set to "unprotected" and/or "public" in order for your Tweets to be viewable by Sponsor.

Follow @MBUSA then Tweet (1) your guess regarding who will win “The Big Race” by including either: #teamtortiose or #teamhare and (2) why you think the tortoise or hare will win the race. Your Tweet should be creative, witty, appropriately match the tone of the Mercedes Benz brand, and must include hashtag #contest. Your Tweet will herein be referred to as you Submission.

By Tweeting your Submission, you agree that it conforms to the Submission Content Restrictions, defined below, and that Sponsor may disqualify you from the Contest if it determines, in its sole discretion, that your Submission fails to conform to these Restrictions.

After Contest Period, a panel of qualified judges determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion will select the potential winner from among all eligible Submissions received, based on an application of the following criteria:

•Creativity/Originality of Submission (50%);
•Quality of the conversation generated by the submission (RTs, Fav, Replies) (25%);
•Tone and nature of the Submission is brand commensurate (25%).
