One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) grand prize winner will receive his or her choice of one (1) of the following cruises to the Caribbean with Princes Cruises® (each a “Cruise”) for the winner and one (1) guest (“Cruise Guest”), sharing accommodations in one (1) double occupancy balcony stateroom:
• (a) one (1) 7-day Western Caribbean cruise (“Western Caribbean Cruise”) embarking and disembarking from Houston, Texas (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Western Caribbean Cruise: $2,168 plus flights); OR
• (b) one (1) 7-day Eastern Caribbean cruise (“Eastern Caribbean Cruise”) embarking and disembarking from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Florida (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Eastern Caribbean Cruise: $2,190 plus flights).
Prize includes the following items:
o No matter which cruise destination you select from the above, the winner will receive $2,309 to help defray the tax payable on this prize by the winner. Prize paid in the form of a check made payable to the winner. It is the winner’s obligation to pay the tax due. Should the tax be greater than $2,309 (based on winner’s tax reporting), the winner is responsible for any additional tax that may be due, if any.
o Grand prize includes economy airfare from major airport nearest Winner’s residence to major airport closest to embarkation port of the selected Cruise and economy airfare from major airport closest to disembarkation port of selected Cruise to major airport closest to Winner’s residence. The Sponsor reserves the right to specify alternative airports at its own discretion.
o Grand Prize Cruise includes all regular onboard meals and entertainment, applicable government fees and taxes for cruise only.
o Cruise must be booked and completed by December 31, 2015 or Sweepstakes Prize will be forfeited. All prize details are subject to availability and restrictions such as blackout dates including holidays (e.g. Monday, November 20, 2014–Sunday, November 26, 2014; Thursday, December 18, 2014– Wednesday, December 31, 2014) may apply. All Cruise bookings must be made by contacting Princess. Third and Fourth berths may be available for purchase. Sweepstakes Winner may (subject to availability) upgrade to a higher cabin category by paying the difference between the Sweepstakes Prize category rate and the cabin category of their choosing. No credit or cash refund will be given to Sweepstakes Winner should they elect a cabin in a lower category than that stated in the Sweepstakes Prize. Sweepstakes Winner and guest must have all necessary identification and/or cruise documents (including but not limited to a valid passport or other documents) required for Cruise. Sweepstakes Winner and guests are subject at all times to the terms of the Princess Cruises Passage Contract, which is available at http://www.princess.com/lega /passage_contract/index.jsp. Actual value of trip may vary based on point of departure and airfare fluctuations. Any difference between stated approximate retail value and actual value of Grand Prize will not be awarded. All Grand Prize details not specified in the Official Rules will be determined in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. If in the judgment of Sponsor, air travel is not required due to winner’s proximity to Cruise embarkment/disembarkment location, ground transportation will be substituted for roundtrip air travel at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. All ground transportation, shore excursions fees, discretionary hotel and dining charges, meals in alternate dining venues, alcoholic beverages, boutique purchases, and any other incidental costs or other expenses not specifically set forth herein are the sole responsibility of Winner. Rules
Open only to legal U.S. and District of Columbia residents (excluding Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam) at the time of entry, and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Winner must be 21 years of age or older as of the date of departure or must be accompanied by someone 21 years of age or older as of the date of departure to claim this prize.
