One (1) Grand Prize: a $5,000.00 cash prize; a $5,000.00 donation to a local community garden selected by Sponsor in conjunction with the Grand Prize winner; a gardening kit (ARV: $100.00); and one (1) year’s supply of DOLE® Garden Soup (flavor selection to be determined by Sponsor) (54 units; ARV $188.46);

Each of the remaining two (2) finalists: a gardening kit (ARV: $100.00); and one (1) box of each flavor of DOLE® Garden Soup (5 units; ARV $17.45).

Total ARV of all prizes: $10,523.36.

Entrants and nominees must be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

For persons nominating, Entrant must have received nominee’s permission to nominate him/her and to provide the requested information for entry.

Persons earning income as landscape architects, professional gardeners, horticulturists, or groundskeepers are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

Limit one (1) Entry per person, regardless of the number of email addresses or accounts a person may have.

Enter one of two ways:

(1) to nominate himself/herself, by submitting one photo (JPEG; no more than 3 MB each) taken by Entrant in 2014 that features Entrant’s home garden together with an essay of 250 characters or less describing why Entrant is a super gardener/America’s best gardener; or

(2) to nominate someone else, by submitting one photo (JPEG; no more than 3 MB each) taken by Entrant or the nominee in 2014 that features the nominee’s home garden together with an essay of 250 characters or less describing why the nominee is a super gardener/America’s best gardener.
