There will be a total of three (3) Grand Prizes awarded, of which one (1) will be awarded in each grade group. Each Grand Prize winner, upon proper verification and full compliance with these Official Rules, will receive a prize of $10,000 (a) made payable to the Parent Entrant, or (b) in the event that a Student Entrant is a winner, made payable to his or her parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years of age and has reached the age of majority in his or her state of residence at the time of entry.

There will be a total of five (5) $1,000 cash prizes awarded to five (5) teachers, selected & awarded at random.

Open and offered only to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., who meet one of the following criteria: (i) they are students at least 15 years of age as of the date of entry (“Student Entrants”), or (ii) they are parents or legal guardians (who are at least 18 years of age and have reached the age of majority in his or her state of residence at the time of entry) of child (ren) who are students under 15 years of age as of the date of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries, and where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation.

Limits on number of entries. One (1) entry per Entrant.

Submit a representation (art/photo/picture) that demonstrates how pencils helped/will help them achieve their goals (the “Theme”) along with a sentence or paragraph (50 words or less) that supports the photo/picture and Theme.
