(1) Grand Prize Award: (1) $500.00 American Express gift card. Opportunity to participate in the Grand Slam portion of the contest as outlined below, for the opportunity to win the Grand Slam Prize award $25,000 Shopping Spree.
Grand Slam Contest: The Grand Prize finalist will have the opportunity to participate in the Grand Slam portion of the contest for a chance to win the Grand Slam Prize award (described below) if the Professional Baseball team that finalist selected during their initial online registration hits a grand slam home run during the designated game date on 5/13/2012, per the contest requirements as outlines below.
Designated Team: The professional baseball team as selected by finalist during their initial online registration and saved with their eligible entry in the contestant database. Only the selected team as saved with that finalist’s record in the contestant database shall be eligible for the contest. o For the purposes of this contest, only the selected teamthat plays at the ‘Major League’ level shall be considered eligible for the grand slam contest. Each entrant must also select (1) professional baseball teamfrom the provided list, which will be utilized as the ‘designated team’ in the event that entrant is selected as the grand prize finalist with the opportunity to participate in the Grand Slam portion of the contest (only one selected finalist shall be eligible to participate in the Grand Slam portion of the contest).
How to Play – InstantWin ‘Virtual Temperature’ Game: After completing the registration page (first time visitors) or logging in (for return
visitors), click the ‘Take Your Temperature’ button on the Contest website to link to the ‘InstantWin’ Virtual Temperature game play page. The game play page will display a graphic of an Exergen Temporal Thermometer. To determine if you are an instant prize winner, simply click the ‘Take Your Temperature’ button on the game play graphic.
Participants will have the opportunity to click the ‘Take Your Temperature’ button only one time per day, each day during the entire
Contest Registration Period. Each time a participant clicks the ‘Take Your Temperature’ button he/she will automatically receive one additional
entry into the grand prize drawing (see below).
After clicking the ‘Take Your Temperature’ button, the Exergen Virtual Temporal Thermometer will land on a designated temperature reading, then
link to an instant win results message page. If the Thermometer reading lands on exactly 98.6 degrees and the participant also receives an instant winner message and prize claim code on their results page, then that prticipant will be designated as an instant bonus prize winner (see below).
If the Thermometer reading lands on any other temperature, or receives the non-winning results message, then that participant will not be an instant prize winner for that Contest attempt.
A maximumtotal of (93) instant win prize winners will be randomly determined throughout the Contest Period.
