Prize Details
(1) Grand Prize Winner will win a trip for (4) to the Lake Arrowhead Resort, in Lake Arrowhead, CA where the Family will receive basic vehicle orientation and safety training and then join off--road racing champion Destry Abbott and his family on the trails.
The Grand Prize consists of a travel package for the Finalist and (3) family members who must meet all eligibility requirements as outlined in the section of these Official Rules. Travel Package includes round trip air transportation from a major U.S. airport nearest the Finalist’s residence (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) for (4) people who must travel together on same itinerary. Lodging accommodations are for (4) days/(3) nights at Lake Arrowhead Resort (or at an alternate site as selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion) and will be based on availability at time of booking; ground transportation from airport to lodging and from lodging to airport, meals and other standard amenities of the Lake Arrowhead Resort are included. Grand Prize Winning Family Team must be able to travel to Lake Arrowhead, CA on Saturday, July 21, 2012, and depart on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, or Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. A $1,000 check will be provided to the Grand Prize Winning Family Team for incidental fees incurred during travel.
Total ARV of the Grand Prize Travel Package is $7,250.
Additionally, the Grand Prize winner will receive a 2012 Teryx4 vehicle.

Total ARV of all prizes: $22,449.

You must be a legal resident of one of the United States or the District of Columbia who is of the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and at least 18 years of age or older and have a valid, state-issued driver’s license as of the date of entry.

How To Enter: To enter online, eligible Participants should go to adventurehunters.kawasaki.com/contest and follow instructions to (a) complete the registration form providing all information requested, including full name of Participant and each participating family member, complete address – including city, state, and ZIP code (no P.O. boxes accepted) – age of Participant and each participating family member, phone number and email address (if you have one); (b) submit an essay with 400 words maximum or less detailing “Why my family deserves a Kawasaki Teryx4 Ultimate Family Adventure,” in English (each, an “Essay Entry”); (c) upload a digital family photo (submitted photograph must be in JPEG format and no larger than 300k and preferably in color); and (d) agree to these Official Rules. The Registration Form, your Essay Entry and Photograph are collectively your “Entry.” Essay Entries must be no more than 400 words in length.
Initial Judging Phase: The “Initial Judging Phase” will take place beginning at 12:00:01 a.m. (ET) on May 10, 2012, and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on May 25, 2012. All Valid Entries will be judged by a panel of independent judges (the “Semi--Finalist Judges”) appointed by the Sponsor, who shall use criteria set forth below to determine four (4) Semi--Finalist Entries (although fewer if insufficient Valid Entries are received) (each a “Semi--Finalist”). Valid Entries will be graded based on the following pre--determined set of criteria: relevance to “Why my family deserves a Kawasaki Teryx4 Ultimate Family Adventure” (60%); originality, creativity and emotional/inspirational reaction (40%). In the event of a tie, an additional “tie--breaker” Semi--Finalist Judge will determine the Semi--Finalist(s) from among all such tied Valid Entries using the judging criteria set forth in this paragraph.
Public Voting Phase: The “Public Voting Phase” will take place at the Site beginning at 3:00 PM. (ET) on June 11, 2012, and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) on June 29th, 2012. The Family Photo and Entry Essay will be placed on the Contest gallery page (“Voting Gallery”) to allow for voting. Each Valid Entry may be voted on by the general public, including by each Participant; however, a person may submit only one (1) vote per day per person and/or per IP address during the Public Voting Phase. A Participant may vote for his or her own Semi--Finalist Entry.
