(3) Grand Prizes: $2,500 cash to winner (awarded in the form of a check) and a $5,000 donation to the registered charity of winner's choice (awarded as a check made payable directly to the charity). Charity subject to Sponsor's approval and must be a U.S. I.R.C. § 501(c)(3) organization that is non-religious, non-political and non-discriminatory.
ARV: $7,500 each.

ARV of all prizes: $22,500.

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years or older as of November 2, 2009.

Contest Question:

Explain how you spread the warmth in your community to help others (200 words or less). Essay must also describe how your work impacted the person or group or organization you helped.

An entry can only be submitted by a single individual, and the prize will only be awarded in the entrant's name.

There is a limit of one entry per email address/person per day, and each entry submitted must include a different essay and must be about a different person, group, or organization.
