Prize Details
(1) Grand Prize: A professional and personalized Design Consultation with Amy Matthews, host of Sweat Equity and Bathroom Renovations on DIY Network, for the makeover of (1) room (or other discrete space, e.g. garage, patio area, etc.) and a check for $10,000 for potential use in executing makeover. “Design Consultation” means verified Grand Prize winner will initially submit photos and written summary describing the current state of the room or space and any unique or relevant considerations pertaining to a potential makeover (e.g., objectives, primary uses of room/space, aesthetic preferences, budgetary parameters, etc.). Upon acceptance of the initial submission by Grand Prize winner (including responses to any reasonably requested clarifications or perceived gaps in information), Amy Matthews will travel to Grand Prize winner’s home or other location within the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia on a mutually agreed itinerary and schedule to conduct a (4) hour, on-site consultation and review of the selected room or space with Grand Prize winner. Thereafter, Grand Prize winner will be provided a proposed design plan or plans, which may include (without limitation) proposal(s), mood board(s), floor plan(s) and other documentation related to the proposed makeover, as presented by Amy Matthews personally in a (1) hour telephone conference, as reasonably and mutually scheduled. Please Note: the focus of the Design Consultation is exterior ‘design’, e.g. fixtures and furnishings, configuration, coherence and usability of the space subject, as distinguished from infrastructural matters such as electrical wiring, plumbing and HVAC, architectural planning, and/or any major tear-down or structural alterations to the subject space. The Design Consultation, including its component verbal and written elements, are provided to Grand Prize winner “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and Grand Prize winner hereby releases and agrees to hold Amy Matthews, the DIY Network, Sponsor and Sponsor’s agents supporting the development and execution of the Game from any and all liability, costs, damages or risks arising out of or relating to the Design Consultation. It shall be Grand Prize winner’s sole responsibility to review, confirm and independently execute any recommendations relating to a Design Consultation with appropriately qualified and licensed professional agents and in accordance with any applicable laws pertaining to a proposed makeover or elements thereof. On-site consultation by Amy Matthews subject to pre-site visit inspection and/or background check, at Sponsor’s discretion.
ARV of the Grand Prize is $15,000 ($5,000 in the Design Consultation and $10,000 in cash). Grand Prize must be accepted in its entirety or it will be forfeited. $10,000 check will be issued to winner upon completion of the Design Consultation.
(10) First Prize: A $500 Visa Gift Card.
ARV: $500.00 each.
(100) Second Prize: A one-year subscription to a DIY Magazine.
ARV: $30.00 each.
Total ARV of all prizes: $23,000.
Rules
Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia age 18 or older (19 in AL and NE) who have valid email addresses.
Void in Alaska and Hawaii.
Limit one game Play per person/email address per day.
