I got a letter in the mail yesterday with one of the first prizes in the D-I-Y Sweeps -- a $300 Mastercard GC!

I was a little skeptical of the win, because it came regular mail (and bulk postage rate at that), and the envelope only called it the D-I-Y sweepstakes.  The letter inside didn't help my skepticism as it didn't say much more than "Congrats - here's how to use your gift card".  No mention of the sponsor or even the full name of the sweeps.  It looked really familiar to a credit card application. 

 It wasn't until after I searched the expired sweeps that I realized it was the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco - Red Seal D-I-Y Sweeps, and that it was a real win!  Hopefully there will be other winners from here, because there were 100 first prize gift cards.  

 well now isn't that a sweet piece of mail!  Congratulations on a GC that will that will come in handy I'm sure!

Congrats efd3467!   I got the same surprise in my mailbox today.....that's more than I've won with all my other wins put together.  It could not have come at a better time financially and I was also starting to lose my motivation.  This is definatly a motivator.
