Hello Everyone!

 I just wanted to keep repeating to everyone to keep persevering with their entries.

I realize that some feel they "never" win and there are those that seem to win all the time. I agree, sometimes it is due to the amount of entries but sometimes it is just being at the right place at the right time with Lady Luck on your side!

 Since I became a Member of Sweepstakes Today, I have been blessed with a multitude of prizes. Somehow, Mr. Sweepy's newsletter made its way to my Inbox folder in Dec '06 and I decided to check it out. I had heard about entering sweepstakes online but never actually entered any.

 So....the very first night was on a Friday and I decided to snoop around. I entered some and tried to get a feel for the site. Well....low and behold a few days later I received an email stating I won a prize package worth $3500!! Of course, I was scepticle but I googled it and sure enough it was legit. This was a ONE TIME entry.

So.....needless to say I was hooked. I personally, enter all the Instant Wins I like daily and make sure I do the One Time entries that I am interested in. I tried to keep up on Daily Entries in the past but I found it too time consuming.

I won a Wii after that, an Ipod Stereo ( I then had to go and buy an Ipod for DH for it, lol! ), some small gift cards and a few other things. Then....last December on a Saturday night, I won an Instant Win..... Yes, Instant Win Trip for 2 to the Hawaii NFL Pro Bowl!!! To say I was Excited is obviously not enough. I also won a bunch of goodies to go with this prize package. I had not won ANYTHING before this for about 8 months, it had been a long dry spell but that is just how sweeping goes, you just neer know!

This year I have won some nice prizes. I won smaller prizes and some nicer ones. 

This year I won movie tickets, smaller gift cards, and things such as that. The bigger prizes were: a $150 Ticketmaster Gift Card, 2 Tickets to see Bruce Springsteen ( but I had to pass them on ), $450 Felt Bicycle, Digital Camera from Dunkin DOnuts Sweep, $100 Card from M&M Sweep, $25 from Lipton Tea, $50 from Kraft, some smaller items from 3M, and most likely a few more that are not coming to mind at the moment.

Please note that a few of these were actually my husband's wins as he began sweeping just a little bit. And as we share, we group them together.

So...this email is Sooo not intended to brag. I want to encourage EVERYONE that it really can happen to anyone. I do spend about 30min a day, sometimes a little more but I can not possibly enter all that I am interested in.

My advice? Change the time of day you are entering. I use to sweep at 6am EST everyday for the 8months that I did not win a thing but once I started changing a little, my luck changed.

kimdor, you dispense some very wise advice.  Some say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result, so it makes perfect sense to change things up to change the end result.  I admire your spirit and your unselfish attitude about sharing your knowledge.  Congrats on all of your wins.

To be honest, I have won at all times, my biggest wins by chance of course were in the evening around 8pm EST on a Friday and a Saturday but I have won early in the AM, mid AM, and afternoon too.

 I know that it is all luck but the times are pre-determined by sponsors and I feel that changing it up a little has helped. I am not saying it improves your odds, but like I said I was not winning at 6-7am EST and then my luck improved when I started to use variety.

 Now, I am ALSO not saying that you can not win at this time, it just has been more fun for me to try and change it up.

Time is not of the essence when entering Instant Win sweepstakes.  99-3/4% of all my wins have come between 7:30 and Midnight Eastern Time.  Just a few minutes ago at about 11:50pm EDT, I won a second prize in the Chiquita "Snack, Play, Win sweepstakes, a portable DVD player with an ARV of $300.  From my reading of the rules, there are 3 prizes to be awarded daily, randomly 1 of prizes 1 thru 5 and 2 of prize 6, a Soccer Mom DVD. Que Sera, Sera Whatever Will Be, Will Be.

Kimdor, I think I will take your advice to change up my routine a little. I am having no luck this month, and I will try anything that might help.

Actually, I do have a little bit of Irish in me, my maiden name is Irish and it came on down the line I guess.
