    Winning is Wonderful!

I joined ST in second half of 2006. I remember I won a few small items at

first (tshirts, music downloads, etc.). Approximately 2 months after I joined

I remember getting an email with the title" Grand Prize Winner of the Ghost Rider

Sweepstakes" and my heart did a little flutter of hope that I had actually won something

bigger. It was!  Big Smile  It was a pit BBQ from Pitts and Spitts in Texas (around $3500), a year's

worth of hot sauce ($300), $500 of meat from MyButcher.com and a Ghostrider

T-Shirt and wallet. It was the most exhilarating experience because it just

proved that it WAS possible to win the big stuff! Since then I have won many

other smaller things such as: a blackbery pearl ($400-at the time), Rachael

Ray's platter sets (2), many gift cards or codes ranging from $25.00 to $50.00

each, and many other things I just can't recall at this time. But my biggest

win I have yet to receive is the "Made in Eureka" Grand Prize of a reengineered

Toyota FJ Cruiser ($23,000) with $50,000 worth of upgrades.  Cool It was Degree branded.

Just last week I spoke with the woman from the marketing agency who told

me it is In California getting revamped from the promotional tour it was on. She said

they are having a professional take off the Degree branded wrap and it should come

to me either the last week of October of the first week of November. You cannot

imagine how surprised I was when I got the call for this prize! The lady in marketing

also told me the vehicle had 42" TV in the back and gull wing doors. Wow! She is supposed

to email me photos this week after the wrap comes off. I can't wait and I will try to post

one or two when I get them. Since then I have won more shirts, an Ipod shuffle, $50 Amazon

Gift code, $25.00 Visa Card (from M&Ms), movie download ($14.99) plus some other little stuff.

I feel like I build up little wins to get to the big wins and since it really is a hobby, it's all the

more enjoyable when I win and share with my family and friends. Patience does pay off!

Here's to big wins for everyone and Congratulations to Mr Sweepy for a wonderful site! Yes

Wow racey, how can you stand the wait?  Hope your new truck is everything you dreamed of and more (with $50000 in upgrades the and more is entirely possible) and that it finds its way home to you sooner as opposed to later.  Congrats on all of your wonderful wins.
