    Re: OCTOBER CELEBRATIONS

Thanks LTM; what a delight to read your monthly celebration posts!  In addition to celebrating my birthday in October, I do so enjoy the intense college football season between now and the bowl games.  This is my favorite time of the year.  Unfortunately winter follows fall - and I am definitely not a winter person!!  Hopefully this month will be the beginning of the winning season for all ST members when notification of the big prizes will end up on their doorstep, in their mailbox or email inbox.  Good luck to all.

Jeannie47: I too, relish Fall weather, for it's cooler, not cold temps, and college (not pro) football. I don't build snow forts, throw snowballs, ski or iceskate so I have little use for Winter except it's ability to reduce the bug population.

bxgirl: Sorry 'bout the wrong date, I have now corrected it.   My bday is 4/16, LW's 4/29, Oldest daughter 3/15, middle daughter 3/10 and the youngest, a son 3/15, so we are also a close family.

    Re: OCTOBER CELEBRATIONS

Wow, I must have been asleep at the desk as I totally missed the October celebrations.  No excuse, just busy with personal stuff.  Sorry gang.

    Ok, here goes:

Happy Birthday Cake in my very best off-key voice and many, many more.

Happy anniversary to all and many more.  May you grow old gracefully and together.

And less I forget:  a special thanks to Jim, the keeper of vital info and dispenser of wise words.

How you look at a situation is very important, for how you think about a problem may defeat you before you ever do anything about it. When you get discouraged or depressed, try changing your attitude from negative to positive and see how life can change for you. Remember, your attitude toward a situation can help you to change it -- you create the very atmosphere for defeat or victory.”
