I received an automated telephone call from UPS today informing me that a package would be delivered tomorrow that required the signature of an adult at least 21 years old (seems a bit extreme to me - glad my son turned 21 September 10!).  I can't imagine what it is - possibly my $2500 Best Buy Gift Card that I won, but it seems too quick for that - I just mailed the affidavit back September 13.

*cough*  *cough* *sniffle*  

I think I'm getting sick.  Yeah....maybe I'd better call in sick tomorrow, hehe.  Can't take a chance I miss the UPS man!

Anyone else get a similar call?

Congratulations on whatever it is!  I hope it is something good. 

If you need a note to call off work let me know.  I got a lot of practice in high school signing my moms ( and a lot of other moms) name. LOL.  Let us know what it is.

I received the exact same call... needing a 21+ adult to sign.  Of course, the delivery came while I was watching my son race at school this morning!  The note from UPS said that the package was from Disney.  I think it could be the ipod I won in the Disney/Jetix sweep.  Did you win in that one, tmaguirre57?  If not, did you get your package today?  I have to wait until Monday for second delivery!!

 gosh, you guys have to let us know what you received.  Hope it's a wonderful prize you can use.

Hmmm, I received a UPS letter for an adult age 21 or over and it was Miller Football Season Sweeps for a 50 inch HDTV...crossing my fingers for you too!

I don't remember winning anything in that one...I'm usually pretty good about documenting my wins in my spreadsheet, but have been known to overlook one here or there.  *sigh*  Still waiting...UPS usually delivers about 7:15 p.m. here (can you tell I know the schedule by now? lol), so I've got an hour to wait...

 Laughed when I read your  note about UPS needing someone being there to deliver the package.  You can call work and tell them you are having trouble with your eyes....(you can't see goling to work today!!).  Just kidding... Okay...actually, last night while I was staring at my ceiling, not sleeping, wondering what I had won....it occurred to me that my daughter DID win an IPod in this sweeps, so I bet that is what the delivery is.  Guess I didn't include it on *my* wins spreadsheet, because it was my 13 year old daughter who won. Sure hope it comes today...

Wonder what else I've forgotten about, hehe.  Better go check my utility bills and make sure they are paid!

Well, mine was the Ipod from the Jetix/Disney sweep.  My 8-year old son was home sick today and it totally made his day when it finally arrived.  I only wish I had kept it a secret because his birthday is coming soon and it would have been an awesome gift!!!

 Glad to hear it made your son's day!  Hope he is feeling better.  Did your package just arive today?  I still have not seen hide nor hair of the UPS man, no delivery slips, or anything.  I called them this morning and they said that without a tracking number there was nothing they could do.  I wish I had not answered the call and had let them leave a message, because I SWEAR they said I would be receiving a package the next day, and to have someone 21 or over available to sign...that was Thursday.

I got the same call on Sunday night.  And I was going crazy thinking it was the "big one".  When I saw the posts, I realized it was the ipod my daughter won from Disney.  That was quick!  She won it on 8/25 and we got it already.  Since it required an adult signature, my husband had to take time off to pick it up from UPS today.  I was afraid they would send it back, since they weren't able to deliver it yesterday!

 I'm thrilled to have won another great prize with the help of Mr. Sweepy and the wonderful folks at ST!  Thanks for all the hard work you do!

Did your ipod ever arrive?  Mine came on Monday so yours should have definitely made it.  At least you know what it (probably) is and aren't left wondering for this long.  I hope it comes soon.  Let me know!
