Hi, I just received an email stating that I won 2nd place for a t - shirt and bathroom cleaner. Not a big win but it is something and it wasn't even an instant win, which up until now is mostly all that I had won so maybe things are looking up. Thanks Mr. Sweepy

I know that this is probably not allowed and if you have to remove my post Mr Sweepy I will understand but the reason I started sweeping is because my husband has cancer and has been taking treatments all year. So far nothing has worked but I am suppose to hear tomorrow if he is a canidate for the cyber knife. I don't know a lot of people and this is the only way that I could think of reaching a lot of people at once. I was hoping that I could ask everyone to pray for him his name is RIcky Smith and he is my life. I would be eternally grateful if any or all of you would just say a little prayer so that maybe God would hear us all. If they could just do this cyber knife thing on his spine it would be the best win ever. If I have offended anyone or broken any rules please excuse and forgive me, I am just at my wits end and this is his last hope. Thanks and God Bless you all Donna

Congratulations on your win and I have said a prayer fro your husband....my brother is in stage 4 and had all the treatments he can take and does not wish to have anymore they have pulled im down to nothing now just a matter of days left.

    I'm glad you found a little something positive to do during such a difficult time. Maybe this win is just a prelude to the "big win" for your husband receiving the cyber-knife treatment.

  You picked a good, compassionate online community to share your strife. There's NO way you should feel you've offended anyone here because if you just read all different sections of the forum, you would see & hear many different struggles.

 To begin with -  anyone who enters sweeps must have some optimism & deep well of hope which makes us all winners. ( even the members who may seem pessimistic) & this can be an advantage in this life.

  Dan I'm sooo sorry to hear about your brother. I want to thank you for bravely sharing.

If you & Dan can share such hardship & show amazing strength, than I can certainly PRAY for both of you.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband's struggle this past year.  I really hope that he'll be able to get the cyber knife procedure.  I'll keep you and your husband in my thoughts.

I'm sorry to hear about your Husband and I will pray for Healing, Peace and strenght to get thru this difficult time.  I have a son who is 5 and has mild Cerebral Palsy and a heart defect.  He's the sweetest kid in the world and I received a fortune cookie that helps me get thru difficult times.  It said, "what doesn't destroy you, makes you stronger"  Good Luck and keep the faith.

Donna, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband, Ricky.  This is a good way to get a prayer circle going for anyone who needs it (everybody?!).

I have never heard of the cyber knife.  What is it?  I hope they are able to use it and that it works. God Bless You both

     I was so sorry to read about your husband.  I will say a prayer for both of you that you have the strength to get thru everything.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words and your prayers.. Dan, I am sorry to hear of your brother. I have contacted every institute and every research center I can find everywhere and was contacted today to be a volunteer for a new program that will be two years before they can start to test on humans as they need 25 Mil just to start but they say that al the tests in animals show that in 24 hours all cancer cells are gone. It may be too late for either of us but maybe one day no one else will have to face this terrible fate. The cyber knife is a radiation type surgery that they can remove tumors in your brain, lungs, spine just about anywhere that it would be inoperable otherwise without actually cutting into you. I don't know how it works but at this point I would try any and everything to save my husband. For different reasons we both had to go out of work 4 or 5 years ago on disability and since we have been together 24/7 I don't know how to go on without him. I know your prayers are working because for the first time in a week he got out of bed today. So thank you all very much, I will be eternally grateful. Donna

Donna this is so great that we have all these nice people on this site.  We know now that we have real good christian people with prayes for both of our families.  All prayers will always be appreciated.  MAY GOD BLESS YOU DONNA AND YOUR HUSBAND, AND ALL THAT HAVE PRAYED for both of our families.
