    EUREKA!

I am in shock! I received a call Friday from a Mr Neil Simon of NBC Skycastle (a division of NBC Local Media)

regarding the "Made in Eureka" Sweepstakes. He recited all my information to me because he said I was a

potential prize winner. I knew that that there were a couple of sweeps that had something about Made In Eureka

in the title so wasn't sure what the prize was (because he asked me if I remembered entering the contest and

at the time I wasn't sure which one it was so I said yes.) Then he asked me if I had a valid driver's license and

valid insurance  Smile I told him yes and he said I would be getting a Fed-Ex today with affidavit and W9 and told

me I had 5 days to fill out, get notarized and back to him (he never actually mentioned what the prize was!) .

After I hung up I searched the expired sweeps and found that there were 2 probable "Made in Eureka" sweeps.

One was for home theater setup and blu-ray player (ARV $4999) and the other was for a reengineered

2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser! Then I checked and found that I entered 0 times for the home theater but that I had

entered the Toyota Sweeps 11 times! Needless to say when I got the paperwork today it was indeed for the

Toyota FJ Cruiser ARV $75,000 (comes with hand reader, LCD screen, gaming system) I am filling out

paperwork in the am and getting it Fed-Exed out tomorrow.  Can you believe that?? I am so excited and

so scared too!! I was only looking to get a second car for my hubby because his doesn't have AC and I

was so tired of seeing him sweating in it. I told him I was going to win him a vehicle and about 2 weeks

ago I told him I felt like I was going to win something big! I don't think he believed me but he does now!

I sure hope this all works out. As Mr Sweepy says, win it then worry about it - well I won it and now I

hope all goes well. I hope everyone here wins what they wish for eventually. I was really getting to where

I was dreading to sit down and enter every night but I kept plodding along. (but remember, it only took

me 11 entries when I have entered other car sweeps over 200 times!) So don't give up!

I'll never be able to sleep until I see what happens. This is a first for me.

Thanks Mr Sweepy and Uni-lever (for providing the prize) and the means to enter!!

Racey, what wonderful news.  I am sure that your hubby will not only stay cool but look way cool in his new ride.  (Or will you keep it for yourself and give hubby your hand me down?)  Either way, I am so happy for you and your family.  You sound so excited!  A big congratulations on your big win!

    Thanks guys,

I know sometimes its hard to see others win big prizes when you are trying so hard.

But I try to be happy for others when they win and hope that all who read about this

will have renewed determination to keep pecking on their keyboard.

I might Confused give it to my husband but my hand me down of a 2005 Ford Escape isn't

too shabby either. Doesn't matter because whats mine is his and his is mine.

I just want comfort for him too. (luckily he doesn't work too far away so

he won't use more gas than he does now.)

Wow!  Super prize.  Are you even sleeping tonight?  I'd be so wired!  You and your husband could take turns driving it?  I'm "allergic" to new car materials so any new car I win (!) will be my husband's.  He needs air, too.  Maybe I should get the feeling...

racyblonde (or member #79):  What a super, tremendous, fabulous win.  Fun, isn't it?  Welcome to our $10K club.  Enjoy each and every second of your wonderful win.

The part that I love about ST is the excitement of dreaming about prizes and what you would do with them.

Well, back to exercising my fingers as I enter on.

Fantastic win!  Congratulations and I loved what you said about what's his is mine and what's mine is his and the fact that you wanted him as comfortable as you when he drives, a true partnership which is just as inspiring as your win - wishing you many more wins. - Annmarie
