1. No Purchase Necessary; however, you must enter at the store.

. The Albertsons Step Beyond Gold “Winning Edge” SweepstakesSM (“Sweepstakes”) begins on June 29, 2008 at 12:00AM and ends Aug. 8, 2008 at 11:59:59PM. There are two (2) ways to enter:

1. Customers earn entries into the Step Beyond Gold “Winning Edge” SweepstakesSM each time they purchase a participating product (see list of participating products below) with their Preferred Savings Card*.
2. Individuals wishing to enter without making a purchase may do so by asking their checker for a No Purchase Sweepstakes entry. Requests for multiple No Purchase Entries must be executed as separate transaction. Interested customers must present the Preferred Savings Card* to checker at time of request.

Participating customers are limited to ten (10) entries (purchase or no-purchase) per day.

* Preferred Savings Card requirement can be in the form of presenting to the Checker or Scanning at self service check stands a Preferred Savings Card or Key Fob or entry into the check stand pin pad an Alternate ID number (usually telephone number) linked to a valid Preferred Savings Card account. A Preferred Savings Card may be obtained at no charge by visiting the Customer Service desk of a participating store and completing an application.
2. Participating Stores: All Albertsons food stores and Albertsons/Sav-on food and drug stores in Southern California and Southern Nevada.
3. Eligibility:

Sweepstakes open to all Albertsons Preferred Savings Card holders 18 years of age or older who are legal residents of Southern California or Southern Nevada except for the following: employees and immediate families of employees of SUPERVALU INC. and its affiliates and wholly-owned subsidiaries, Dailey & Associates, MARS Advertising, Ford Motor Company, Southern California Ford Dealers Association, or participating product manufacturers (Coke, Tyson Foods, Bimbo Bakeries and Unilever). Eligible entrants are required to have a valid and current mailing address and telephone number in the Albertsons Preferred Savings Card customer database. Participants wishing to verify or change their address or telephone number information can do so by calling the Albertsons Customer Care Center (1-877-932-7948). Winner must be a licensed driver and reside in the United States at time of prize delivery.

4. Prizes and Odds of Winning:

Grand Prize: A total of forty-one (41) – 2008 Ford Edge SE (see details below for the description of standard and optional equipment), one prize awarded daily for the duration of the Sweepstakes. MSRP $26,490.00. Total MSRP of all Grand prizes: $1,086,090.00. Prize does not include state or local sales taxes, registration, licensing and title, delivery fees, insurance or any other government fees required to take possession and use of vehicle. A 1099 form will be filed with the IRS that reflect the prize value (see prize options below). As such, winner will be responsible for all federal and state income tax liability resulting from prize acceptance. Winner shall be responsible for registration, licensing, title, delivery fees and insurance associated with the possession and use of the prize. Odd of winning depends on the number of eligible entries received.

5. Daily Random Drawings:

At the completion of each day’s entry period, a winner and five alternates (designated by a number according to the order of selection) will be determined by random selection from all entries contained in the electronic pool of entries. A random selection will take place sometime between 12:01AM and 10:00AM the day after the entry period.

6. To Claim Prize:

The daily winner (subject to eligibility verification) will be notified by phone and/or overnight courier within 3 business days of daily sweepstakes drawing. In the event the daily winner is not capable of redeeming the prize for any reason, the prize is forfeited for that winner and an alternate winner will be selected. This process shall be repeated for up to five alternate winners until the prize is awarded. More alternate winners shall be selected, if needed, until the prize is awarded.
At time of notification winners will be presented with four (4) prize acceptance options. They are as follows:
1. Accept Prize as Offered in sweepstakes (see vehicle specifications below)
• Winner will be directed to local dealer to select and take possession of vehicle. If desired vehicle (interior color and/or exterior color) is not readily available, a local dealer search of available vehicles in the lot (of a similar model and at the same prize range as the original vehicle) shall be conducted to procure and deliver vehicle (allow additional time for delivery).
• A 1099 form in the amount equal to the negotiated purchase price of the vehicle minus the current rebate (approximately $23,600.00) will be filed with the IRS in the name of the winner.

2. Accept Vehicle Purchase Credit of $23,600.00 which can be applied towards any other Ford Vehicle.
• Winner will be directed to local dealer to select vehicle and take possession (if vehicle model, color and options are available) or to order desired vehicle (allow up to 12 weeks for delivery).
• If winner selects a vehicle for a greater cost, they are responsible for the difference, including all taxes and related fees.
• If winner selects a vehicle for a lesser cost, they are not entitled to the difference in cash. They may apply the difference to sales tax, registration, licensing and title fees, up to $23,600.00.
• A 1099 form in the amount of $23,600.00 will be filed with the IRS in the name of the winner.

3. Accept a Cash Alternative of $18,500.00
• Winner liable for personal income tax (cash alternative value reported to IRS).

4. Decline Acceptance of Prize – Winner chooses to forfeit prize.
• An alternate winner will be selected and prize will be awarded.
