I'm new to this site and love it!!

I started sweeping on this site recently and really enjoy it.  It is very organized and the folks here truly seem to have a great conection.

I retired as a registered nurse last year and have been  traveling the country with my husband.  No we don't have one of those fancy RV's.  But we do have a 300K Kenworth 18 wheeler.  After getting the last 2 kids graduated from college in May , I decided to get in the truck and travel with my husband.  We tell everyone we are on a "moneyhoon".  I love it.  We had 2 sets of twins and 3 singletons.  All have graduated college and are doing great.  I love sweeping and have done it of'f and on over the years. Today we're in Brooklyn NY, tomorrow who knows. Thank's to all of you for your tips and encouragement.  Good Luck and God Bless.

Welcome to the family!  Big Smile  Wow, you deserve a moneymoon after raising that passel of kids.  I must say, I have great respect for your recently retired profession and am glad that you now have time to spend with the one you love seeing America on the open road.  (I have a soft spot for truckers too as I am married to one.)

Well I hope that you not only become a regular forum poster, but that many wins come your way soon.  One questions though, is there someone at your house to sign for packages while you are away?  I'll bet once you are on a winning streak there will be plenty of ST members that would sign up for the job, just not sure how many prizes they will actually admit were delivered though.  lol

Have a great summer and welcome, welcome welcome!

Thank's for the warm welcome, and an answer to your question.

Thank you for your reply. Reguarding if someone is available to get packages if and when they arrive.  We have a small farm and also run the trucking company from our home.  We have some  long time dependable employees to handle the mail ect.  Sorry right now there isn't an opening for a on site "prize recipiant" to  claim our winnings.  Thank's again for the warm welcome.  Good Luck and God Bless.

    oh .. PS

5 kids and even college, WOW! Ive got to congratulate you. Thats a win in itself! Ive got one in college now and another soon to be. I run a online home decor business to cover those extra expenses but it is a struggle to say the least.with the economy tanking, with each day becomesing more difficult. Can imagine you too must feel the direct pain of a gas crunch on business.

Welcome twnmum2 - this is a happy site!  I don't even bother with the other sites...Mr. Sweepy, his crew, all the members are the best!  I've been a member since November and I won a trip to Vegas!  I have been on cloud nine for a week now!  The way I look at it, I think God uses this site as a catalyst to get wonderful things to you to make our time on this earth more pleasurable!  It's also nice to dream and interesting to see what others are winning! Good Luck to you and God Bless you and your whole family!!

Welcome.  Nursing is truly a noble profession and calling.  Enjoy your travels combined with making a bit of money.

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. - Dr. Seuss

May the Joy and the Meaning of the Christmas Season fill your hearts throughout the year.

A BIG hardy welcome to you. Where's your home state?  When I read your post, I connected immediately.  I too am the mother of twins (boys), and my first husband (now deceased) was a truck driver.  I went with him on a few trips, but with my working full time the travel time was limited.  Incidentally my handle was "2Timer" but I think that fits you more adequately.  TWO sets of twins... and three singletons...whew, you had your hands full.  So you take your trusty laptop along with you on the 18-wheeler and then search for wireless service so you can enter your sweeps?  Enjoy your moneyhoon and good luck to you in your sweeping endeavors.

WOW!! You all are the greatest.

You guys know how to make a person feel welcome.  Thank's for all the kind words and encouragement.  As you all can see my life has been very busy for the last 28 years.  Trust me it hasn't been with out its ups and downs, joy and tears.  There were times when I felt I wouldn't make it another day, but the Lord has always given me the strength to keep going.  I thank him many times a day for all my blessings.  Sweeping is both relaxing and exciting for me. There are times that we are in between loads and I have nothing else to do but play on the computer.  Right now we are loading in Long Island and heading to Tukwila, WA, and then finalize this load 20 miles south of San Diego. 4425 miles to go befor Thursday.  Our "stationary home" and farm are in Indiana.  Again thanks, good luck and God Bless you all.

Welcome twnmum2!  Hope you had a safe drive across country, you should be in San Diego right about now....I'm just North in Orange County....wave as you drive through!  I hope you are enjoying our beautiful weather!  After 28 years as a nurse, I'm guessing that you are enjoying not having to tend to the needs of everyone...especially now that your kids are all grown up now (great work by the way!).  Working in healthcare is very stressful these days, I know, I did it for years myself.  Have a good trip back home and happy sweeping!
