    Just a simple wish..

The perfect win to me would be enough cash to pay off bills or put a dent in them.  I would be happy to win a trip as well. With one son in college and another soon to be ready it is difficult, especially during these economic times. A buck doesnt go far.

On a personal level I choose to sweep instead of gambling or playing the lottery as it would violate my conscience. It is just as thrilling to me to sweep.

Happy sweeping and many wins for all! Smile

yep, it doesn't cost anything (sometimes a stamp) to submit your name to a contest/sweepstakes, and it proves to be very rewarding at times.  Money or gift card is always the perfect win.  I feel the pain for those who have children in college and are trying to make ends meet.  The price of gasoline is putting the skids on everything from driving a car, to heating your home, to buying groceries.  And for the older generation who are on a fixed income, we see everything going UP except the monthly check.  That's why sweeping is so much fun.  You can possibly win cash, but also win that little extra gift for children's/grandchildren's birthday/Christmas/etc. gifts.  Good luck to you and hope your sweeping dreams come true.

College costs can really challenge a family's resources.  I must confess I also play the lottery.

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. - Dr. Seuss

Big Dream.. Ok ...I almost feel guilty talking about it, but I did dream about the HGTV dream home. I already had it planned. I wanted too purchase a large acerage of land that was butted up against Big South Fork in Tennesee. The land would have been a nice campground for people who travel with horses so they could access the park trails via horseback. The majority of land would have been home to a commercial buffalo farm. Would have been invloved heavily with the community with pumpkin patches and corn mazes as well as make a wish for children who love horses and want to camp as well.

After entering the HGTV dream home contest I learned towards the end that anyone related to a GM employees ( my dads retired) is not qualified to win the home. I was crushed.  That started me looking for sweeps for which I found ST and now reading the rules carefully.

As long as HGTV contines to giveaway GM cars with the homes I will not qualify to enter. Im hoping the Blog Cabin will not add a GM car so I have atleast a chance.
