    I often ask myself that same question, but apparently SOMEONE must fall for it since they keep sending 'em out.  *sigh*

    My poor little grandpa was one of those suckers.  Now someone in Timbuktu (sp) is probably walking around with his personal info. on a fake ID

    This is SACRED on Luxor computer . Please don't take what I said personally . I was just commenting . Everyday people get taken by strangers, and yes even by their own family .There's all kinds of people in this world .  Its so bad that the police have opened special departments , and even the govt is in it . Yet people ( of all walks of life ) people who believes in others when they shouldn't , pay out the money , the info , whatever the scammers want . I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa . I hope that this does not hurt him . I am sorry if I have offended you or anyone else with my comment .

    Those people who scam and steal other peoples info are the scum of the earth.  Those that target the elderly are the very worst.

    I always find it difficult to believe that the servers that these scumbags use for their garbage postings are UNAWARE OF the email traffic from these scammers.

    I wish they would have very strict mandatory jail time for people that scam the elderly.
