Kinda newbie not very used to posting

    Hi Sweepers:

Like others I have just been reading about, I am new to posting, but love to read what others have written.  I have recently found the answer to many of my questions by crusing the forums.  I didn't know much about these forums but am glad to know that this forum has nice people.

I started doing the sweeps to help out in our income..  My husband thought it was all scams until I read him some of the posts of the winners!  I kinda feel like this is my job and way to contribute to our family.  I am a wheelchair user for over 50 years, and yes that is a long time to sit on your butt!  Anyway, I am married and we had our anniversary of 30 years on February 3rd.  Have one son and a beautiful grandson who is almost two and is the joy of my life.

My husband had an accident about 15 years ago which injured his back.  After surgery he was left with numbness in one leg and so he is on SSDI.  We have gone thru many trials together and I feel so glad to have found my Prince Charming!  I realize how much we have compared to many others and am grateful.  So now you know a little about me and I hope to learn more about you all.  Movie  Music

HotWhelz! What's up and WELCOME! Isn't sweeping fun? I am so glad that you like ST, it really is a fun place to be. And it sure is a great place to win, because you have your own little cheering section rooting you on every day, and doing cartwheels and jumping up and down for you when you win! (Which I do hope that you get your GP soon!)

So you are a wheelchair user? One of my BFFs in high school was, his name was Robby, and he would always give me a lift around the buildings, it was so much fun! But I know that he had a lot of down time too, and I know that was hard, as I am sure it is for anyone that is handicap or disabled. So I am glad that you found such a fantastic hobby and a great 'online' ST family! Yippie!

So you and your hubbo have been hitched for 30 years? That is a long time! That is so great though, it must be wonderful. Happy belated anniversary! I am sorry to hear that he too is disabled, but at least you still have each other. I guess that is what's most important, right? And one kid and a grandson to show for it, well, isn't that just wonderful! (FYI, if your grandson is the right age, he can get you into the kids only sweeps!) You said he is two? Well, I bet that is just great! At two they seem to just go faster and faster and learn more and more words every day!

Well, I am glad that I got to know you, and I hope to see you more often on the forum, posting about your wins, family and whatever else comes to mind! Welcome to ST, I hope you enjoy it here.

Now go WIN!!!!! Peace, Love and Sweepstakes Wins!

ps- 1. Don't forget to use autofill  2. Read the comments on the LL, they can help immensely  3. Come to the forum often for support, it's great  4. Ask any question you have, and hopefully you will get an answer. If not, keep asking!

And again, WELCOME, and GOOD LUCK (or good Odds)! My name is Mindy, and it is nice to meet you. (o:

Great place to visit if you get a break from sweeping or need some awesome information!

hotwhelz:  Welcome.  I remember you posting something for utube (?) that I viewed.  Our members really try to help when we know the answer or point you in the right direction.

Sorry to hear about your problems but hopefully the sweeps will help occupy your time.

Looking forward to seeing many wins posted by you.

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. First of all - I love your name!  I bet you are the original hotwheel!!  We used to kid my mother who was also wheelchair bound that she and her friends at the nursing home would have races to get to the dining room for meals.  She'd laugh and say, "Yeah, I always win!"  Anyhow, I know you will LOVE this site....it's got the best sweepers who encourage you and just boost you up when you get discouraged....you know, all the usual things that family members do.  Mr. Sweepy and staff are amazing...always trying to help us and answer questions.  Another way you can learn a little bit more about the folks on here is to read their bio (if they have indeed completed one).  You also may want to update your profile to include a bio; that enables others to read all about you.  Make sure you post your wins; I'll be looking forward to reading them.  Good luck and happy sweeping!

    Hi Jeanie:

I am glad you like my name!!  It took me a while to figure out a good one that went with me so I could use it in my email.  It is hotwhelz with a 'z' that makes it kinda unusual.  Thanks for the encouragement.

Hello, I'm new To this hobby so I'm feeling my way thru.  I'm new to the computer and sweeping.  I am excited, last week I won a 3m duffle bag, this week I received a email from usps Sinatra Style Sweeps I won a baby blue i pod and Sinatra cd.  $220.  My first win!   Boy am I excited!  I replied to the email and will have my prize in 2-4 weeks.

I'm like you hotwhelz, that's why I'm replying.  I have MS and drag my tired butt around in a wheelchair, too.  I have a lot of time on my hands for sweeping and can always use a friend.

I'm married  -40  years, I was a child bride.  Ha i'm older than dirt.  I have two sons, one waiting for me in heaven and one in Wichita, Ks.  No grandkids but I sure want some.  My husband and I are best friends, I'd be lost without him.
