Entry Traceable to SweepstakesToday.com after Opening in New Window...???

First off, this is THE best online sweepstakes site on the net. Mr. Sweepy is second to none.

I have one concern. When we click on the particular sweeps link from this site, a new window is opened. I understand that it is still possible for the judging agency to track the entry back to a sweepstakes site, even though is is in a new window. Many agencies would disqualify us for that.  I have still won a lot of prizes here, however. Hopefully, most of these disapproving agencies are in the minority. Is there a way, short of copying the link itself into a new window, of somehow blocking this information from them...Maybe a browser-security tweak...??? I would love to hear what you guys think on this subject. Hope you all win big...!!!

Really?  What are you basing this statement on?  Not trying to be argumentative, just wondering what your source is.  I was under the impression that a lot of sweeps contact Mr. Sweepy directly and submit their sweeps to be included on his website, so I don't understand why they would then DQ you...

    1) Why would entering from a sweepstakes site be cause for disqualification?

    2) How do you know many agencies do this?

Agree that this is the best online sweepstakes site.

Mr. S. has addressed this issue many times.  It really would not make sense for sponsors and their agencies to contact Mr. S. to have him run their sweeps then DQ us for entering from his site.

Who are the disapproving agencies that you mentioned?  Who are the agencies that are disqualifying us for entering thru this site?

As you noted you have won a lot of prizes here.  I have also won many times using this site.  Everyday we have a multitude of posters sharing their wins both big and small.

Hopefully, this response and the above responses addresses your concerns.

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. - Dr. Seuss
