    Friends of Gormom-please read

Hi, first  let me say "Mr. Sweepy if you have to punish me that is ok "but i had to use this space to write this. I was away for a few days, but now i am back because  MY SON IS BACK FROM IRAQ, SAFE AND SOUND AND ON AMERICAN SOIL ONCE AGAIN and i had to reach the many people that i call friends on here. I appreciate all the kind words and help while he was away.  I would name you all personally but due to NO SLEEP, my brain is mush.  He will be going back to Iraq in 2009. My husband and i  are back home now after a few hours of rest, and hopefully Josh  will be here in a day or two to stay with us and visit his old friends for a few days. Thanks for all the support.

gormon:  Thrilled to hear you son is back from Iraq, safe and sound, and on American soil.  I still have several friends and family members (2 nephews-one a medic and one doing something with a tank) serving in Iraq and I know the worry you must be enduring.  Hopefully, your son and every other brave military person will be able to return home soon without the worry of returning.

I seriously doubt Mr. S. will punish you.  He too supports the military and all who serve.

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. - Dr. Seuss

Hey there! Isn't that a win? Your boy home safe and sound! Please, tell your son Josh that I said thanks for doing what he does, I appreciate him. It takes one hell of a person to do his job, and I hope he knows how important he is to the USA! I would imagine that you are super excited to have him home, and I am glad for you. By the way, you must have done a good job raising him, congrats goes to you for that Gor-'Momma'. Thanks to you and your family, for all of the things that you have done for your country, and I am so glad that he is home safe.

    With Love and Prayers,

    Mindy

Gormom, I am so very thankful he is safe.  Please tell him for us in Arkansas that we love our military dearly, and appreciate him and fellow soldiers so much.  We can all sleep soundly at night, knowing they are always there, standing ready to protect us.

Oh, gormom!  I am thrilled to read that Josh is home.  You and your husband must be basking in the relief.  I am sorry that he will have to return to Iraq in 2009, but maybe there will still be work to be done.  In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy your visit together.

Please let Josh know that I am very grateful to him and to all the members of our military who give so much so that I might enjoy the freedoms I have.  They make a huge sacrifice everyday, and I remember the men and women of our armed services with grateful prayers. God bless them.  God bless America.
