Hey there! So what do we do now -- lol!  I visited St. Pete a few times, once to see "Smuckers on Ice"  and once to drive my Dad to visit an old friend of his. I'm originally from Brighton, England and moved to the USA 20 years ago.

I try to look out for local sweeps but never find anything. I've been sweeping for a year and am having a great time - except for the typing! Who knew companies gave away so much for free! Do you plan to go to the convention in June (I think it's in Michigan?) I thought it might be fun and a chance to learn about other ways to win stuff.. Happy Thanksgiving!  Samantha

Nice to meet you Samantha.  My name is MaryAnn and I'm originally from West Virginia. I've been in Florida for 27 years.  I have no idea how to get a club started but I am always happy to share sweeps info and stuff with others.  It may take me a little while but I'll do some scouting  on the internet and see how some other clubs are set up.

I won't be attentending the convention but it sure does sound like a lot of fun.  Have a great weekend!

Share how the scouting goes.  I'm enjoying my newfound hobby and would love to meet fellow sweepers.  Im sure there are clubs out there, there seems to be one for just about everything. 

I live in Orlando, but work shift work (hint 911), so Im not 'always' available for weekends.

As more folks drop in this thread, maybe we can get several up and going.

I think it's hard to get a group together unless you're in a big city. You're in Orlando, I'm in Stuart and Maryanne's in St Petersburg! We make a triangle on the map! lol  But you never know - there could be a lot of us in FLA and Orlando is central so we can meet at your place and we'll bring the chips and dip! :-)

Thanks for running that down and posting.  Looks like I missed the March meeting and in April my days off are Thursday/Friday, so unless I can get off at 11am Saturday the 14th, it may be a while before I can attend.

If anyone in Florida is interested in meeting for lunch Saturday, April 7th at Mimi's Cafe, respond here.  Mimi's is centrally located at the Mall at Millenia exit I-4/Conroy which is one exit east of the Turnpike exit.  I meet there frequently with another interest group because it is so convenient for those coming from Melbourne, Sanford, Lakeland, Leesburg, Clermont, etc.  Very central. (AND THE FOOD IS GREAT - Wide Variety).
