About 6 months ago I received one phone call telling me I had won a cruise.  As they continued to talk, I realized it was a company selling timeshares.  I hung up phone immediately.  Beyond that I have not been bothered with unwanted phone calls.

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. - Dr. Seuss

I entered a sweep for a home makeover and the next day recieved a call trying to sell me vinyl siding. I asked how they had my number and it was from entering the sweep. I wasn't familiar with the forum yet to post it. I hung up.

I haven't received any phone calls only stupid email spam from the uk, etc. saying I won a tremendous amount of money if I'd only give them my address, phone number, social security number, vital statistics and ownership of my firstborn.

Luckily No, but I avoid home improvement, new windows, time share, that sort of thing sweeps.  Some sweeps do say, to be eligble to win, you must accept sales calls.

I entered a candle sweep that was posted in additional sweeps(posted by a forum member) and got a phone call less than 2 hours later, also got a phone call directly related to the Marriott Sweep that is currently running, and also got one from a home improvement company which said it would call upon entry. I don't mind if they warn you before you enter that they will call, because then I can decide whether to enter or not, but I don't like it when they call you out of the blue like Marriott and the candle place did.

I got calls from Disney Vacation Club, Bronson and Marriott. I also got a call from one of these bed companies saying that I won a discount certificate and that they wanted to send a salesperson to my home the next day! I recently got 2 calls and 2 emails that I won $300 toward Lazer treatments with the balance of the money for Lazer coming out of my pocket. Thanks but no thanks. This drives me insane because when I first get thess calls,I really think I'm getting a "win" call. Once I see I'm getting a sales pitch - I have murder on my mind!
