You are correct, the "Edit Tags" can only be seen by you, on a Forum post that you have made. (Others can see their own, but only on posts that they have made). After you have made a post, and desire to change something, spelling or whatever, at a later time, in the upper right, next to "reply", are "Delete", "Edit", "Favorites" and "Contact" You can click on "Edit", make your change, and the post will be amended to show your edit. Future visits displays your "Edit" in the "Edit Tags" box. To make a corrective delete on a post, you cannot delete by placing your cursor in front of, and clicking delete, you have to position your cursor beyond letter or word to be deleted and backspacing.
