    Idea?

I have mentioned this before, i would like to have the ability to mark out (X) a sweep or mark it somehow that i have read it and don't want to enter it. That way when i have available time to enter more sweeps i don't have to go thru all the same sweeps over and over that i haven't entered and reread them again. This would give me control  to x out sweeps such as: age requirement, smoking, expecting, bride to be...... I think others would like this too.

Have you tried posting those that you want to re-enter to your "Lucky List" or "Favorites". although, your idea has great merit if the initial sweeps posting had a "yes or no" box to check without opening the contest.   I sometimes have to stop in the middle of checking and/or entering new sweeps and this would allow me to mark my stopping place.

Thank you LTM, i appreciate your input. And admire your poems. but i am talking about once i open a sweep and read the rules or comments , i want to be able to mark it as one i don't want to enter. if  i just back out then the next time i have free time to enter more sweeps i have to reread the same sweeps and rules all over again. There is no way to know that i don't like that sweep. I always put the ones i like to my lucky list. This will avoid me skipping sweeps i might have missed, or not read yet. Maybe i am not explaining it well.

Hey, leave my terrible rhymes out of this. I liked your idea and thought you conveyed it very well. I was agreeing with you, if Mr. Sweepy (Mr Softy)  could put the "NO " check boxes on the Title page and those that you checked or Xed would only apply to your computer. Read the sweep data and rules, if a "one time" or "didn't care for" sweep put an X or check mark so that you will not bother opening it again.

    Re: Idea?

Wonderful idea if possible.  I know I have some that do not interest me but I still look time and time again.  CA sweepers are not allowed to enter anything with alcohol or an alcohol sponsor and some do not interest me such as welding sweep.

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. - Dr. Seuss

    Re: Idea?

Great idea, but since Mr.Sweepy/Softie might say no, here are some of my ideas. My post mysteriously disappeared again. Anyway, what I was trying to say is that you should do one-times from the last chance sweeps list where they are sorted out from the rest of the sweeps. They are also sorted by date--the final three days to enter.  Since you can only enter one time anyway, you would not have to look through them more than once. You would know that you entered all the possible contests that are ending on October 10th, for example, so you would know where you left off even if you were away from your computer for a day.

Another thing you can do to maximize time and prizes is to go to the featured sweepstakes list(this is just one of many ways to get there) and scroll down to the bottom to find the instant wins. Click on instant wins. Especially if you don't use My Lucky List, you can pull up all the instant wins, sort them by rating(my favorite way) and just play as many as you have time for.

As for the dailies--put them in My Lucky List when they are first posted.  If you don't do it then you might as well only enter once or when you have a bit of extra time.  Your chances are extremely limited if you don't have time to enter them every day or nearly every day.

But if Mr. Sweepy can do the check mark--yahoo. One would think if tabs turns red or green to show whether we entered or added to our lucky list, maybe we could hit a tab that turns it black to show it is taboo to us!
