    Need an answer asap

I am concerned that if I do not find out how to have an instant win verified it will be lost/forfeited.  Yesterday evening I rec'vd a message of an instant $ 100 Visa gift card in the AT&T Make Them Green with Envy Sweepstakes .... then there appeared a place for address verification and then a message that to complete verification I would need to reply to a email they would send.  It stated that I might need to somehow enable their email to access my in box.   I am a computer dummy and do not understand how to enable their email to arrive ( if it  is somehow blocked , which I guess it is since I have not yet received it )   I did try adding fulfillment@eprizefulfillment.com to my contact list which has not worked and neither has trying to send them an email at that address ( failure notice)  Can someone help me to find the way to have this win verified?

First, check your Junk mail. The verification e-mail may already be there.

Second, I NEVER bother to jump through the hoops to add addresses for sponsors, although I often see the message, and that has NEVER prevented me from getting an announced incoming e-mail from a win notice. This is for yahoo and hotmail (aka live) and Comcast.

Okay, go check your Junk mail and then come back and tell us if it's there!  And CONGRATULATIONS!

Every e-mail programseems a little different to me, so exact directions to adding to contact lists are not easy for me, but I'm sure we (plural we) can figure it out.  Which e-mail are you using?

P.S.  When they asked for "address verification," you did send your correct e-mail address?  Call up your response in your "Sent" e-mail and double-check that.  I only mention that because I get goofy with happiness after a win and can make silly errors.

    Re: Need an answer asap

I'm glad you are feeling better.  I do think it will work out.

But I didn't say I got a win without verifying--just that I always got verification notices without having to add any e-mail addresses to a contact list.

Still hoping it's in the junk mail....  Smile

    Re: Need an answer asap

HI Lindigo, I checked the Junk mail or "trash" as it reads on my yahoo site and do not find anything there ... or  in spam.  I recall that after the instant win notice there appeared what seemed like a pop -up box that asked for some verification such as address which I believe I entered correctly ( residence address )  do not recall their asking for email address.  After that it seems according to my recollection that I was advised that they would next send an email which would need verification and that if I thought my email might block it that there was some kind of procedure to enable it.  The enabling is the part I do not understand.  I do know how to add a contact if that is what the procedure is and if so I guess I did not understand exactly what addtess to add.  I tried some like fulfillment@eprizefulfillment.com which did not work.

I have found a contact for eprize I guess it is http://eprize.com/contactus and notified them of this and found a phone # 877 837 7493 and have left a message there also - I have a reply from email contact that they will get around to answering within a few days.   I have all this concern going because reading the rules for the AT&T Make Them Green ....etc sweeps it seems to state that it is necessary to repy/verify with the email they send.   So mucn concern for a $ 100 gift card ... but I am surprised at the shoesting budget I am on now ...Unlike in 2007 when I won a new Tahoe .....Since then this is one of the few wins I 've been getting happy about so that's why I am working on it!  To keep it fun!  Which these days is making ends meet ... I'll let you know how it goes ... or if anyone has any suggestions bring them on.  (After all this I now need a recess)  Hope the waterfall of wins comes your way!

     1. Always take a screenshot of the winning notification.

    2. e-Prize. I have gotten stuff from them with no e-mail at all from them. I have gotten stuff witn no winning screen on an instant. I have not gotten stuff from them at all after a winning notification. I have gotten a response from them within a day for a question -  fulfillment@eprizefulfillment.com  -.

    3. Generally the e-mail is specifically directed to your e-mail addy so its not filtered out by a spam checker.

    Re: Need an answer asap

Thanks ... maybe you can tell me how to take a screenshot.  However in this case from looking at the rules as posted on this ST site a screenshot is not eligible proof for this one.  Another ? ST states rules page is a "PDF file" and I do not know what that is either.  I know as much about computers as I know about the television, that is how to turn it on and off, change the channels, and watch it.  Well here's hoping I see this gift card and don't forget to tell me about screenshots if you feel like it.  & wishing you the win of your dreams!

Thank you ... that is encouraging that "no further action ...." etc.  There is the "subject to verification.  Once we have verified your eligibility ...."  I guess that's never to worry also.  Just one more ?  Did you also find a pop-up screen on the game play site stating that you had an instant win?   If so how long after the game play notice did you receive the verification email?   & have you received the prize yet?  Glad for your win annielil1; hope you have many more.  Thanks again for helping to answer my ? so I can enjoy the instant win

Bentley, I won on October 12 and haven't yet received the prize.  I don't remember if my win screen was of the pop-up kind, but very well could have been.  I received the verification email about 10 minutes later. The part about verifying eligibility is routine for just about all wins.

    Congratulations on your win.

    Re: Need an answer asap

Hi, Bentley!  I have been away from my computer all day, but thinking of you.  I just knew people would have good help for you.  That's what I meant by "plural we."  There is always someone in the ST family with an answer.  What good luck that we had another winner of the same prize!  It sounds like all you have to do is wait for your prize to arrive.

I'm sure you know now what a screen shot is, but for newbies who may be reading this  someday and puzzling over it:  Some people take a photograph of the computer while the win announcement is on the screen.  I probably should at times, but I never have.  Rules always say it won't prove anything, but it sure couldn't hurt, and it would be a cheerful memory.

Thanks for your good wishes, and I certainly wish boundless good fortune to you, too!

    Re: Need an answer asap

Bentley, re your question about PDF files.  I used to have a computer that took forever to open PDF files.  I guess a lot of people had similar struggles with PDF files, and that is probably why Mr. Sweepy warns people that if they click on the Rules link they may be in for a long, tiresome, headache. I used to be furious with myself when I carelessly clicked on a PDF link, because it froze my computer up for so long. I had to REALLY, REALLLY want to see the info before I would intentionally click on a PDF link.

Since you say you have been reading the Rules, I am guessing your computer opened the PDF file with no problem.  The computer I use now also can open them easily. I loved your description of how much you know about tvs and computers.  Well, I think all you need to know about PDF files is that it is a format that you have no problem with.  Big Smile
