 I just saw this post and all I can say is WOW!  I think they would have to call 911 if I even had such a big win.  I don't know how old u are, but such a win can make a huge difference in your life. I know it would in mine since I am a senior citizen LOL!  It is soooo wonderful that an S/T member hit this one!!  WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! and good luck in convincing the notary people that this is legit.  I have had to take few affys to the bank and they talk to me like I am a poor scammed senior citizen who is being taken for a ride LOL!!  I have to convince them this is for real. Congratulations again!!!!!

This is pathetic! Your hobby is participating in sweepstakes? Are you going to use the money to fix your house up like it says the money should be for? Didnt think so, the people who participated with the intention of using the funds to actually fix their house up got cheated, just so you can sit on your couch and participate in sweepstakes on a full-time basis.... I hope Karma takes a big bite out of that money.....

Hey Andy785, you are way out of line.  The rules for the sweep stated that the prize of $75G could be used for home improvement.  It did not state it had to be used that way.  When sweeps want to restrict the use of the money money they know how to do that such as a line of credit at a home imoprovement center or payment directly to a contractor.  It is the winners choice as to how he/she uses it.  I entered this sweeps daily and if I had won I planned on using some for home improvement, some to pay off debt, some for a vacation, and the rest in savings.  I do not begrudge the winner one bit.  He won it fair and square and can use it as he sees fit.

 What a jealous jerk. Andy75 dont hate, I am very happy for the HGTV winner! And yes Karma does come back which is why you have posted no wins. What? What? Please be happy for others because then..your turn will come.

andy75 - you are apparently a "newbie" to ST, and therefore not attuned to the family vibe we all share here. Jealousy isn't something we like to encourage on ST, nor is negativity... Those things don't help anyone - not the winners NOR those on losing streaks. The facts are these: the sponsor of that sweep didn't limit how the prize money could be spent - that is up to the winner; and the winner has been sweeping for many years, doing the work, and now he has won a big prize. He has earned it, if luck and effort can be characterized in that way. Just be happy if that in the future you are so lucky, SOMEONE will congratulate you as well... Peace and contemplation, Chuck.
