This is to share some things I've picked up concerning RoboForm in my six months of sweeping. I'm sure some others would benefit from my experience, so here goes. Before I stumbled onto Robo I was typing everything manually for the entry forms. I hadn't read anything about Robo in the forums, but decided to try out the free version. OMG - what a time saver! And I wasn't even using the free version to the maximum of its potential. Like many others, I didn't want to take the time to read about the program as long as I was entering sweeps so quickly. I was put off by the occasional ads from RoboForm to buy their Pro version - especially when I ended up with over ten passcards, and they made me delete some to continue using the free version! I'm stingy as it is, and hate to pay for something I'm already getting for free (like anti-spyware, etc.). About a month ago 1CrazyCatLady replied to a comment I made on an entry page, to the effect that the Pro version was well worth the cost. Recently I decided to spend the $30. and take a chance. Best decision I've made since trying the free Robo! It has cut my time and frustration factor in half! Before, I was relying on the form filler function and completing many forms partly by hand before clicking the "fill and submit" button. It was pretty fast, but I didn't know what I was missing. With the Pro version, I rely much more on my unlimited collection of passcards. Once you fill in the entry page the first time, it becomes a one-click process to enter most sweeps. Be careful of your accuracy when first filling in the entry page, because if something's wrong it will be wrong every time you enter. But you can use the form filler button to input most info, and then fill in the rest by hand. This is where the Pro version pays off: opt-out buttons, survey questions and other blanks not having to do with name, address, etc. can be filled one time instead of each time. Even some entry pages that Robo tells me do not contain any fields it can fill CAN be dealt with the same way. Once you complete the entry form and check it for accuracy, just use the "save" button next to your name and enter the contest manually the first time. Thereafter, you only need to click on the passcard "fill and submit" button... one click and it's done! Some sweeps are designed to prevent us from using Robo, so it won't work for those few. And of course you can't use the one-click passcard function in instances where the contest uses a "re-captcha" code; numbers or other anti-cheating devices that change each time you enter; or surveys where the questions change periodically. Thankfully, these sweeps are still in the minority - so passcard entering works in the vast majority of cases. There are still functions in Robo Pro that I don't understand - and some I'll never use - but the unlimited passcards are well worth the money! It's changed the way I sweep... AGAIN! roboform.com Thanks for checking this post out, Chuck.
