Hey fellow sweepers,

 How do you make the most of sweeping on days when time is limited?  Mr Sweepy provides us with sooo many good sweeps there are just some days I dont have the time.  I recently moved and until lately have had very little time to enter sweeps.  I am rebuilding my Lucky List, but wonder if I will ever get back the the routine I had before I moved.

This is the order I tackle sweeps now.  Does anyone else have suggestions for more productive ways to enter more in limited time?

First I hit the Last Chance Sweeps

Then I head to New Sweepstakes, adding to my Lucky List along the way.

Next I go through the Featured Sweepstakes - hey, you cant let the good ones get away.

Then I go to my Lucky List

Starting with the Instant Wins (by now Im in need of some instant gratification)

Then the Dailys, 24 Hour, Weekly, Monthly

Some days I dont make it to my Lucky List at all.

Anyone want to share their routine??????????????

hey pbk! well im not very lucky at my IW games so i leave them until last. plus they take the most time so if i dont get to them, no biggie. i think lots of people would disagree with me, but i like to do my lucky list first. atleast that way i maximize those chances ive already gone through the rules and made sure everything is fine with me. it takes me about half hour to 40 minutes to get through the dailies and 24 hours. then another half hour for my IW's. then i check the new sweeps and after that the last chances. then if i have time i check the forums to say hello and give congrats!

sometimes even i think im doing it all backwards, but it works for me. your way sound pretty smart too, except if dont have a lot of time, i recommend putting your IW on the back burner soince they take so long. good luck! and happy unpacking!

I usually start with the last chances, too

Next, I try to get my favorites on the lucky list (dailys or IW's)

Then, try to run through all of the new sweeps

Then, back to the rest on the lucky list, if I have time.

Over the weekend, I fell way behind on the New Sweeps - have lots of catching up to do today (if I can find the time)!

this is elfpuppy, also known as lisa.  the one flaw i can see in your system is doing the New Sweeps first. i had a bad day yesterday and didn't get to them, so began with them today. when i went to my Lucky List, where i usually start, i found i was having to pay way more attention to name and dates because the new ones i'd just entered were already on the list. am i confusing you?  how about this explanation--by doing New first i ended up entering/trying to re-enter 2 of them as i went down my Lucky List.

i'm a newbie, only a month at ST with nothing but time, however, here's what works for me time-wise: lucky list, IW, last chance, new. i like to save them for last...the cherry on top of the sundae, as in wonder what's waiting there today.  i'm not sure why you're going to Featured every day--if you're a newbie, too, you should just enter everything on it at one time (i know, it requires a huge chunk of time, but it's only once and will save you hours and hours down the road.  and while i'm on that subject...the one HUGE mistake i made when i began was:

because under New Sweeps it says they will remain for a week and then go to Featured, i assumed once they went there, that's where they would remain.  so, i just entered everything on on Featured and thought i was "all in".  two weeks later when i was doing Last Chance" i was surprised to see some great one-time sweeps and wondered why i hadn't seen, or entered them through Featured. i began exploring and discovered all those sub-categories  which are listed at the very bottom of the Featured Sweeps list. such as One-Time, Dailies,Instant Win, Second Chance, etc., etc.  i then spent 11 HOURS playing catch-up!

the other mistake(s) i made also involved the Featured List (well a couple of category, really, during that 11 hour stint).  at the very beginning the amount of sweeps to enter was so overwhelming, in quite a few instances, i forgot to click on Add To My Lucky List.  I also discovered that error thanks to Last Chance.  At first when i went to that category i ignored the dailies figuring it didn't make any sense to enter a daily for one or 2 days. then i saw one that looked SO familiar. when i clicked on it i saw i'd entered it the day i began, but had just forgotten to add it to my list. i went back and found all of those.

Thanks for all the advise/comments.  Prior to November I managed to make it through my lucky list almost everyday.  Mr Sweepy has added so many new features I find I have more flexibility.

One explanation why Featured Sweeps is so high on my list of priorities....

Since my Lucky List does not show the number of stars that rate the sweeps; if limited on time, I want to make sure I enter the more lucrative ones first.  Then if time permits... I can still go through my Lucky List and enter the 1/2 to 2 star sweeps.  I pretty much know when I sit down how much time I can allow to sweeping.

I like heading to the Last Chance ones first... the one timer are already done and the dailys and IWs just take a few minutes (unless its the last day of the month when a lot of sweeps expire)

The reason I head to the New Sweeps next is to add to my Lucky List before they get away from me.

Maybe my problem is that Im not very discriminating... I'll enter anything and everything.... unless void in FLORIDA (grrr pet peeve there)

I enter the new ones first...then I go to lucky list

do 24 entrys

then move on to dailys and then do instant last..a lot of the istants..just click cannot see the game and you can bypass a lot of them unless its a choice game..

Lucky list - entering the ones with the oldest dates on them if i wasn't able to get through all of them on prior dates which happens often.

bearx,how long have you been sweeping? How long did it take you to win 37 times? I am pretty new at sweeping...5 months and no wins except for a few small iw.Thanks for any info!
