www.cnet,download.com is a great site to get accurate reviews of new software programs and available downloads. They also provide a FREEWARE section of good, FREE programs to download. I refer to the site regularly. These days you can obtain good, spyware free, tested freeware (including anti-virus programs) which work as well--if not just as good as software programs you purchase. (Remember ALL downloads are free---some software is not.)

[A suggestion, don't just download a program that "sounds good." Read the reviews. If you haven't got a need for it, don't waste your time or HD space.]

How to Use RoboForm in Sweepstakes

Fill Forms from Identities When you come to a page with Sweepstakes Entry Form, RoboForm will offer to fill it from your personal profile that we call Identity. Web sites that offer sweepstakes want you to learn about their products and to see their advertising.

Many sweepstake rules state that "Automated Entry" is illegal. Google Chrome testing-in need of Macro software

I've been working with the Google Chrome browser this week in conjunction with my default Firefox browser. I must say that although this browser is 'not ready for primetime' just yet, it is still preferable to using Internet Explorer as an additional browser for posting additional entries to sweeps and contests.

Another lifetime ago(approximately 10 years), I really had hit my stride for entering with using Internet Explorer in combination with Macro software. Now in 2009, I'm trying to setup once again and I cannot remember that Macro software I used. Since it has been over a decade when I was entering on a full-time basis, I need some suggestions on the most friendly and least resource intensive Macro software to use.

Now i do apoligize first,so here goes.

I was doing my sweeps & i was doing one of those hotel,motel sweeps im not gonna name.

In the code were they make sure your not a computer or running one of those programs, where you have spell to words they spit out these two words.

Shittier In , now that makes ya want stay at that hotel,motel doesn't it.

Just struck me funny, thought i would share that with you.

I am new to Sweepstakes Today...I am a recently laid off Worker in the automotive industry. I have been entering about 30 sweeps a day but getting tidious on entering information... Has anyone out there have a way I can enter the contests without having to personally enter the info? a program I can download that will have a virus or crash my computer. I want to start winning sweeps to compensate my unemployment checks. I hope to go back to work in May they say but you know the auto industry???? I greatly appreciate the help up front!!!

Ok, so I'm getting rid of Firefox. It is going SO slow if I open more than 10 tabs. I have Windows XP.

I downloaded Safari, but I'm not sure I can live without autofill programs! :( Help? Is Google Chrome better? I added Texter, but it's not that great and still requires clicking on each textbook. Please help!

Has anyone ever used 'Texter'? It supposedly fills forms like Robo but also has the ability to fill in 'Flash' sweeps. It's a free download (only for Microsoft xp?) but I wanted to get someone elses opinon before I attempted it. Sure would be nice to auto-fill flash sweeps!

Is there a program or a website that I can download(perferably free) to overide sites that will not let you use Robo. I have Robo and Google which I use often. I also use Netscape and MS auto when needed, but none of these will work on some sites. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

Roboform question

There's the box that comes up when the program can't find any forms to fill. In that box, you can check "click here to not see this box anymore," or something like that. I accidentally checked that and hit okay and now the box doesn't come up anymore. I hve been through all of the menus and the manual and can't figure out how to undo what I did. Anybody know?

When I first started doing sweeps I was doing it all by hand. It wasn't fun either! I thought this would be a great place to lists, and review all the different programs we all use for fill forms.

I use Robo Form. It does a great job. Except when I downloaded it. I got some extra stuff I didn't need, but I was able to customize it. I'm even able to enter my hubby in the sweeps he loves since you can have several different identities on your toolbar.

Has anyone upgraded to Norton 360 version 2? It has an auto log on and form filler. I guess they don't want to be left out.

I have it installed. But, it is doing a job on Firefox. Can't open more that 6 tabs and it shuts down frequently. Have a call into tech support.

Robo Form question

I'm hoping someone can help me. I have Roboform downloaded and have loved using it. Well, the other day I was opening up a pop-up window and accidentally closed the roboform on the pop-up window. Now I can't get it to show up on any of my pop-up windows!! It only shows up at the top of my screen . . . which isn't good when a lot of sweepstakes have additional pop up windows that I could auto-fill. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it back?

Turbo is the best way I have found to manage all my sweeps. I currently have more than 1200 in the prgram. The only downfall to the program is, it doesn't have a built in timer (allowing you to know what time of day you entered last. I'm finding this Internet Explorer add-on (it installs as a toolbar in Internet Explorer) to be very useful. It's a bookmarking and social annotation web tool, and you have the option of keeping your bookmarks/notes private or you may share them with others. I'm finding that the most useful feature is the capability of leaving sticky notes for yourself on any webpage that you visit.....great for listing UPC codes needed for a particular sweep, marking a one-timer as entered or just about any other information you'd like quick access to each time you visit the page.

How to remove Robo

I wonder if anyone could tell me how to remove Robo from my computer? I have been using it for about 2 months and now it is telling me I have purchase or reduce my contest to 10 that have saved with them. Yeah, like that is going to happen. I run a 100 plus sweeps each day. It is a shame. I really liked the way robo helped with pass words and choices as well as info. I can still use Google autofill, but it doesn't do the complete job. The problem now is that I can not find anyway to uninstall it. Can someone help or maybe suggest another program to take its place?

Microsoft AutoComplete

I posted earlier about Microsoft AutoComplete and some ask about some more details about it. This is a free feature within Microsoft Explorer that you can easily turn on and activate. This can be found in:

!. Microsoft Internet Explorer then Tools.

2. Then Internet Options, then click on to the Contents tab.

3. Click the AutoComplete button in Personal Information.

4. Click onto the inoformation boxes you want to fill. Then check the information boxes in the pop-up box and press OK.

Attached above is a file showing the where to look for it.

What it does in sweepsakes and online forms is to autofill the common information that is required in sweepstakes entries. It collections the same kind of information and you can click and enter it into the sweeps. It takes a while to populate all the fields because it reads each font style differently. So you might need to go through 10 to 20 sweeps before you can use it effectively.

To active AutoComplete, double click with the left hand button on your mouse. Then highlight (example your email address) and click once your left hand mouse button.

This can save time.
I use and love the Firefox web browser. if not familiar with it you can open up multiple websites in tabs, unlike windows where a new window opens for each page. (i believe Yahoo has a new download where you can do this in windows thru Yahoo) So all sweeps that I enter regularly(daily, instant win) I put in my bookmarks (favorites) and open in tabs. Before you put a link in your bookmarks I would make sure you are on the webpage that you fill in your info, so you don't have to click to go to another webpage. Now I only open maybe 15 tabs at a time, depending on your computer system(or internet speed) you may want to do less or more. So I create folder(s) in my bookmarks and put no more than 15 links in one folder. Then I click on Open in Tabs. This will open all links that were in the folder. Thus instead of going to sweepstakestoday - profile - my lucky list - click on (each) sweepstake - Enter this Sweepstake: Click here, I just open links in tabs from my bookmarks. This is just a method to reduce time, not to stop you from coming to www.sweepstakestoday.com I come to the site about 5 days a week and multiple times during those days. I always check for new sweeps and featured sweeps. I add certain Sweeps to My Lucky List if comments will help, like for example
