I've been sweeping since January of 2006. It all began on a whim when I saw that Quilted Northern (yes, the TP :)) was having a year-long sweep, giving away $500 gift certificates each day of the year. I thought "what the heck" and I began to enter it daily. About three weeks later, I received a letter in the mail and almost fell over in shock. "Wow, people really do win these things!!" After this wonderful experience, I began searching on the internet to find a site where I could enter more and more and more, and lo and behold, there was Mr. Sweepy. I was hooked. I have never had such a fun hobby; or what my husband calls my "second job". It has brought about many prizes and some really nice friends too. My first big prize happened at 3:30 in the morning....an instant win of $2500. What a surprise! I also won a home gym that year. This year has been the biggest, and what led to the honorary membership in the $10K club. I took a completely awesome trip to Las Vegas with my husband in March, where we were treated like royalty by 3M at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We had tickets to the Blackjack Club, where we rubbed elbows with Richard Petty!! It was a great two days of racing. We stayed at the Bellagio for three nights, and had a rental car. In May, I won a trip to Orlando to watch wrestling. Then in August, my husband won a trip to Los Angeles for an MTV party. It truly has been a wonderful year, and although I have worked hard at entering each and every day, none of it would have been possible without this great site and all the encouraging people here. P.S. Since August, I've also won a digital camera and laptop from Dell, a Shaw rug, and lots of candy :)
