Anyone else ever heard of a P-to-P account?

    Anyone else ever heard of a P-to-P account?

    It's a financial website that pays 2.67 percent interest per day.

    My girlfriend originally had $6,000 in this P-to-P account for 60 days, and made $9,612 interest on top of her $6,000.

    She withdrew $6,000, reinvested $9,612, and is now earning $1,796 per week in interest.

    I was EXTREMELY skeptical until she showed me her checks. It's really amazing.

     The ONLY P2P i have ever heard of is a Peer-2-Peer file sharing, and it has nothing to do with sweepstakes. Now on the other hand if your GF is getting that kind of money off her investing and IF it is real or even legal then more power to her. But IF this is a scam it needs to be posted somewhere else. Wink

    I've always enjoyed your posts and advice you give,and I mean this in no ill willed way,I've read some of the other post where you kinda got jumped on, not that I think it bothers you much but I felt a little bad for you.So on that note why are you going so far off topic with your ST posts lately?This post reads like a scam (even if it is not I understand)but it's not sweep related.Charlene

    If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

    Legitimate, safe, ethically sound investments make sense.  You can see how your money is being used by others who then pay you interest in return for allowing them to use your money for the time period that they needed it.  The interest is either set in agreement at the time you invest, or is set as a percentage of the return that they get from the use of your money.  I don't see that here at all.  In fact, I don't see anywhere on their website how you are earning money/interest except in referral bonuses - referring friends & associates to also invest (give them) their money, for the opportunity to earn referral bonuses from their friends & associates, etc...

    Sounds like a classic pyramid scheme.  Also, if it's too good to be true, it's usually a scam.

    Classic Ponzi scam!  I think you've received plenty of advice here and I truly hope your girlfriend can get her money out NOW and not look back. If she is unable to retrieve her investment I don't believe she has any recourse with the federal securities trade commission, as they have posted many warnings about these type of investment scams.  It's pretty much a buyer- be- ware situation.  Good Luck.  I too don't feel that this is the place to post these types of subjects as they are not Sweeps related. On the other hand you may have saved some other poor sucker from falling into this scheme and loosing either their hard earned or won money.
