    Political Comments

    Members,

I would prefer that political comments and discussions be posted on other websites and blogs.  Sweepstakes Today’s Forums are best for sweepstakes related help, tips, comments, winning stories and prizes won.

I am neutral on this year’s presidential election as a website owner. We specialize in form of entertainment that gives you the opportunity for your dreams to come true. NOT an political discussion board. I would hope that all of you understand my position on this subject.  Thereby I will take down any political post.

I would allow political comments that deal directly with taxes on prizes or changes in state laws that would affect eligibility of any member. I do follow these issues but there are no changes in any laws I know of as of the date.

    Regards and good sweeping,

    Mr. Sweepy

As President of Sweepstakes Today, one of my biggest rewards is reading about your wins and the positive impact it can have on the members.

    Thank you!

I'm sure we're all going to carefully research & make what we believe to be the best choice for ourselves & our families.  But, in between thinking about all of that research & worry, it's nice to have a place to come to, dream & get away from it all!

Thank you and God bless you.  I am glad that I was not the only one who felt that this site is for fun and entertainment and an inappropriate place for political comments and bashing. Thanks again for listening to your members.

Thank you so much for making this an "oasis" from all the campaign hubbub.

I hope everyone researches, listens, watches, and votes as there are plenty of avenues through which one can become informed.  But it is nice to know that this site can continue to be a fantastic resource for a great hobby and we do not have to be bothered by any side campaigning.  Vive la differance somewhere else!

Thank you, I knew I could count on you!  I come here to have fun with sweeping, nothing else.  It's my down-time, as they say.

    Re: Political Comments

Thank you soooooo much!   I will rely on the candidates' platforms and past history and make intelligent decisions as to who I will vote for.  AND thank goodness I can come here afterwards and enjoy a wonderful day of sweeping without having to wade through political comments and posts.  Thank you Mr. Sweepy.  We knew we could count on you!

    Re: Political Comments

Please accept my thanks for your wise decision.

Mr. S. has taken a position that will help keep this a forum for sweeps-related info.

That said, I contact Mr. S. if I want to post something outside the normal sweeps info.  He has always been gracious and willing to provide his permission depending upon the subject.

Thanks for your efforts on our behalf.

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. - Dr. Seuss

    Re: Political Comments

I've been out of town for a few days, So it was a relief to see Mr. Sweepy address & set some boundries on this issue.

From the beginning when I first started seeing these political commentaries being posted, Mr. Sweepy's statement was & is my sentiments exactly.

    Mr. S

Thank you, thank you & thank you for returning the focus back on the enjoyment & fun of sweeping for us ALL.
