    exconomy

a year ago when i joined i stated that i had never won a major prize.today i cant say any different but my question is about the prizes offered. i see more and more dailies with only one prize instead of multiple prizes.is this because of the downturn in the economy.how can they expect us to enter every day for 3 months when there is only 1 chance to win anything? would love any responce.(still wondering after five yrs of doing this i havent won big yet----any help)

Not sure what the answer is for you.  All I can suggest is keep entering.  I am currently winning Subway instant wins without anything big to post about.  Good luck.

Your question "how can they expect us to enter every day for 3 months when there is only 1 chance to win anything?" is interesting.  We make a personal choice when we enter sweeps and sponsors make a corporate decision on prizes.

Me:  I just keep sweeping and entering.  I am currently entering a sweep that has one prize only, is a daily, and runs for over a year.

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. - Dr. Seuss

I'm sure the economy plays a big role in company's decisions re: prizes they offer.  If smaller or fewer prizes are what's needed, though, so that they can keep their employees working & paid their salaries, then I can deal with it on the sweeping end, anyway.

These sweeps are all advertising for them, with the goal of getting more customers & garnering more good will & customer support.  If they find that their advertising techniques are not working, I'm sure that they will try to make changes that benefit the company.  So, if entering daily doesn't seem worthwhile to you, you can let them know by not doing it.  They'll look at their numbers and, if they've dropped enough, try to get the numbers up again.

Personally, though, I'm still entering as often as before.  It's a hobby for me and, for now, it's still fulfilling & exciting.
