 That will benefit other people, not related to you? Every now and then i find myself entering a sweep that could possibly help someone else(co-worker,client, neighbor, ect) and i wondered if i am the only one that does it.

Why would anyone want to do that? 

Not really; I give them the sweep site info and figure they can make the effort to enter for themselves.

Funny part is that most do not want to make the time commitment required to enter sweeps.

I do enter sweeps if they have a prize that will benefit Food Pantry.

 I do enter some sweeps that could benefit some people who are down on their luck. Being a nurse who works with some family's/people that have nothing, i see so many people who are in need of things. And if i were to win something i cant use or dont need, i pass it along to someone who can. I just wondered if other people did that too. My way of giving i guess.

 Not intentionally, but there are prizes that I have won that fit the bill e.g. 6 months worth of diapers => women's shelter.

YES  I do enter sweepstakes for others in my family who I know are interested in sweepstakes

There are some sweeps that are age restricted under 25-30 years . In those cases , I enter my niece and nephew.

I can't ride a motorcycle but enter my brother for those sweeps

 Yes, I sometimes enter sweeps thinking if I win I would donate the prize to my church (i.e.the nursery) or to a nursing home/retirement village or the like. Sometimes I enter for a member of my family particularly if the prize doesn't fit my realm of possibilities for use.
