Watch out for the ad for doing surveys at home.  I clicked on the ad and in order to start and get the $5. sign-up check, you have to sign up for ring tones at 9.99 per mo.  This is not at all what I was looking for.  I need to make money, not spend it.  By the way, does anybody know any legitimate site to go to to make money doing surveys at home?  Or any other thing on the internet?  Thanks.

suzq, I do surveys on a regular basis.  Sometimes they are time comsuming, but they build up after a while.  I have one that is sent me a $59. check.  The one I use most are:      surveyspot.com

                            your2cents.com

                             globalopinion.com

                            NPD global.com( not sure about the name)

All these are free and I get very little junk mail from them.  You register and they will send you surveys to do. Not all of their surveys pay money, so you have to pick and choose, but they all put you in a cash drawings.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answers about the surveys.  Doesn't sound like they pay much, but I'm going to check into the free ones listed.  I also went to the site Annemarie typed in.  Great site!  Lots of good ideas.  Looks like I have my research work cut out for me.  I definitely am interested in working from home on my computer, but I'll have to be careful to leave time for my sweeping!
