Salvickie, I too am saddened to hear of the loss of your father, but like your Father, take heart in this great country. Your Mother's tears, and yours as well, I'm sure are in memory of the man who was there, to be called a husband, or a father, but more so as a friend, who could put an arm around you and make the hurt go away, who could bring a smile or a laugh, who gave a helping hand, who could probably be twisted around the little finger of "his girls", But his most memorable contribution was that he instilled the sense of family values. To your brothers and nephew my most sincere thank yous. And to you, GOD BLESS.
Sacred, hopefully, words written, can offer a small measure of comfort. I lost my father many years ago and my Mother a few years ago, and I have pictures of them in frames and in albums, but they appear faded and worn, but now even as I write this, the ones in my heart are clear, bright and the colors are as sharp as life. May the pictures within your heart of your Dad, forever be bright.
