Beware - Discount World Vacations Calling

Watch out for this one, Discount World Vacations advising that you were picked (only 50 selected out of 5,000) based upon demographics for Disney Year of A Million Dreams - 11 day Florida vacation, cruise, bonus trip to Vegas, etc.  You only have to pay promotion fee of $249 per person.

Oh, did I mention that you are required to attend a 1 hour time share sales pitch?

Put this one under NOT INTERESTED for me.

We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day. ~Edith Lovejoy Pierce

Hi... so what's so bad about having to sit through one of the presentations??  Just bring your ipod and listen to music or play games and you can totally ignore the...and they can't force you to buy anything if you don't have any money!!! :)  really guys...what's so bad about this deal???

zippa3  Several things bother me about these calls and this DEAL:

    1.  Disney Year of A Million Dreams is a real sweepstake with real prize and real winners.

    2.  Paying for a winning takes this out of the category of sweepstake winnings.

Whether it is bad or not is your choice.  Whether you spend your $$$ is your choice.  I just posted the facts.

    Keep sweeping and winning.

My husband and I went to one of these one weekend. When we got to the "resort" the accommodations we were supposed to have were "unavailable" and we ended up in some motel (not a four star).  I would rather stick pins in my eyes than have to sit thru another one of those presentations!  I didn't think they were ever going to let us out of the room!   Never again!  Vickie

Thanks, marli.  I have gotten some of those vacation scams before myself.

When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.
