Woooo...I got back late Monday night from my Pro Bowl trip, which I might add was absolutely fantastic. I get on here on Tuesday to start catching up on all my sweeps. I try to read the comments posted before I enter a sweep to see what is being said. And may I say, I either was really relaxed from my vacation or certain people are really being mean spirited. There is so much back biting and front biting and all over the place biting going on it is ridiculous. This is a place that is supposed to be not only helpful, but Fun, fun, fun. I doubt very seriously Mr. Sweepy set this site up for people to be verbally attacking one another. I will not mention any names as then I will be also joining in the back biting. But, I will say that in my opinion we need to worry about ourselves and what we say far more than what someone else has to say. If someone has a certain line they like to say, how is that hurting any of us? The only way that would be hurtful is if they were personally attacking anyone on here. If someone likes to count down and finds that fun how is that hurting anyone personally? We all have our own ways of doing things and thinking things. We need to give others the freedom to think and do things the way they do also, so long as it isnt hurting anyone. Keep in mind how many fingers we have pointing back out ourselves when we start pointing one at someone else. It is just a shame to see people verbally slamming eachother and I really hope that it can stop, as I Love coming to this site and reading what everyone has to say. (When it is nice). You have every freedom and right to disagree with anything or everything I have to say, but please try to be kind in your responses to me, as I will be kind to you.... Stacy

Stacy:  Welcome back from your trip.  I second your words.  I would never intentionally hurt someone with words and hope others show the same respect.  Counting down or sharing a joke was the norm in the past with Mr. Sweepy's approval and hopefully it will continue.

Oops, I fell off my soapbox and may have sprained my ankle so I will stop right here and get back to some serious sweeping.  Need something to add to my big win of a Tide to Go Pen.

Sadat13  Glad you had a great trip. Sure wish I could have gone. Trying to understand your post. Are you Referring to the comments on the sweep pages or on the Forum?

If it is the sweep pages-- Most of them do not come here and your post would be wasted. I think that some of It is just being a newbie. You try a lot of thing before you find what is proper. I am sure that all most everyone has complained about counting down. Then later accepted it a just Newbie fun. As for a tag line. To me if you type it every time, you mean it. If it is embedded it may not necessarily apply. The good part is we all get to vent when we need to.

Hey Sadat13, Glade you made it back in one peace from you're trip!! I usually only fall down when I take a trip!! HA!! I've been kinda surprised here lately too about some of the comments made in the post. I myself, think it's just mostly newbies who have been typing the things in ??. To me, I think they just are trying to establish themselves in the family,---As they have not found the order of things as of yet. If you know what I mean. It's kinda of like--- in the order of things in any family,---- ya got the head of things--- all the way down the line to the smallest, or youngest!   ---- At least that's the way I look at it. I'm sure things will calm down in a few short weeks or so. At least I hope so!! I myself sometimes can get cared away with my comments. But I think I've made it very clear that I mean no offence to anyone --- I just like getting people riled up some , and it's just to make people laugh, as well as myself. What would this world be like if we all couldn't laugh or clown around sometimes??  Anyway, anything I say in jest, is just that. I think we all need to laugh out loud once in a while. Don't you??? I think the best thing to do is maybe, gently correct the newbies, and let it go. And then maybe things will get back to normal again. What do you think??? As for the gentle correcting,--- I'd let Mr. Sweepy do that!!!  After all, He is the Head of things around here!!! Anyway, Lets all thank God for are freedom of speech!! Ah? I'm glad you enjoyed your trip! As for the rest I agree with you! I don't even post to those whom are so mean to others, I don't even continue to read them. I don't let it bother me.

jrfan..I agree. I dont comment back either on the norm. I guess I am just a bit tender hearted sometimes and it just hurts to see people being mean to eachother.  buddie, I am not sure that I have seen your say anything that should upset anyone. I love it when your joking around, and I take it in the jest it is meant. You seem to be a sweet guy to me...:) I imagine some of the things being said are newbies that will get over it I would suppose. I guess it all just hit me wrong seeing one page after another with the new sweeps that had negative comments. I know that most of the newbies probobly dont make it in here to the boards, and I suppose what I had to say was venting and I probobly should have vented in silence to myself. Thank you guys for the welcome back and I would have taken you all if I could have..:)

Hey once more!!! Here's to venting!!!          We all need to vent once in a while, don't you know!!! I just happen to be very good at it! --- But my spouse says I'm just full of hot air!! Ha!! ---- My reply usually is -- of course I am-- I've got to get it out some how!!! Don't I ??---- Her usual reply is---- Yea -but does it have ta smell so bad ???   And most the time she's wright!! So,--- I leave it at that!!! And with that, I'll just say that--- If we don't say what we mean,---- then how will people know what we meant to say ??? G.L. and happy sweeping!!!
