I think the best attitude is to enjoy this process in itself, like a game. It's a dream to win but can not be expected ..... Even though winners report their wins, ( And I am blessed to be one of them) I do not know how many people enter these sweeps on this site, it may not be such a big ratio of site users to winners as you might be inclined to think ... just hearing of the wins.
I wrote somewhere else on this site ... about something I read somewhere maybe a refrigerator magnet or such: "Blessed are those who expect nothing for they shall not be disappointed!" So I kept that in mind as much as I could .... I enjoyed the process of clicking on the diiferent sweeps and enjoyed the visuals, and the dreamy escape from my reality ...I thought that it would at least make the routine of going to the mailbox less boring because it would be possible ... there could be! a surprise!
And in the karma of my life it did come to pass ... Maybe within 4 or 5 months ....a big one! A customized SUV, 2007! I had never had a NEW vehicle before ....
In the year since won a picnic basket with Pantene styling products as a 2nd prize in another ....and those easy to get chips and movie tickets in the current Subway promo.
So from July 2007 to July 2008 .... a picnic basket and movie tickets .... I'm entering about 150 sweeps every day. Might miss a day sometime ... I do it when I believe and when I do not .....I plan to keep on for years ....and maybe .... if I ever win a new vehicle again, I hope Not to sell it! And who knows I might win a nice vacation ... it's possible for me ....possible for you ...!
I will say that whien I got the certified mail winning notification I was a little leery that someone might be suing me for some old unpaid bill .... I opened it to find " Thank you for entering the ...... sweepstakes ....etc." More than ecstasy I felt like Oh what a relief as I had been so frequently down hearted that I did not have ( a vehicle) needed to be able to see about a disabled relative 80 miles away ...etc, etc ....
So thanks to this site and "Mr Sweepy" some needed happiness has come my way ...
Several years ago I subscribed to a printed sweepstakes newsletter. I was working 40 hrs a week and living check to check, and could enter onlly a few; couldn't afford the postage ...
Now with this site I can enter more than 100 a day ...and it onlly takes one to win. So I just tr to enjoy it and am surely thankful it's here.
You have just as good a chance as anyone ....so I wish you well ... b4 I say goodnite here's a few words from Jeff Foxworthy: "You might be a redneck if your financial advisor tells you to win the lottery" and "Sophisticated people have mutual funds, REDNECKS are going to win the lottery; that IS the plan!
Good nite & Good Luck
