Please let me know if there are any Sweepstakes Clubs in Philadelphia, PA

I am also in Philly and very new to sweeps. Somewhere I ran across some information about a Sweep Conference. I'll try to back track and find it again.  Nice to know I have a partner in Philly.

I'm too far out to be truly considered Philly, but I'm Philly region.  I think there are quite a few from this area, but I don't know of any clubs or anything.  I sort of think of it as a solitary sort of thing.

I do know there was some major convention in Hershey last fall.  I don't know if it is there every year.

I'm from Northeast Philadelphia - but I do not know of any Sweepstakes Clubs in or around the City.

I'm currently in MD - about 2 1/2 hours outside of Philly -  My club in MD has organized a Sweepers Spring Banquet in Gaithersburg, MD (you don't have to be a sweeper to attend) and there will be some PA sweepers in attendance. 
There is at least one Philly Club and I think we may have some attending from that club -
In addition, the Mini-Convention is held in Hershey and they will be doing it for the third time this year - the organizer of the Mini Convention will be at the banquet also.

PHILADELPHIA CHEESESTAKERS

We meet the first Sunday of the month at Famous Dave's at 1pm. Bring 5 stamps, 5 stamped postcards, 5 3x5 cards and an instant lottery ticket to participate in our own monthly sweepstakes. There is also a decorated envelope (10 envelopes) exchange and a better than nothing gift exchange. Contact person: Melanie Liller. Email: love2garden14@yahoo.com

If you are interested in attending the banquet - here are all the logistics, come out and meet follow sweepers and have a great time, this really isn't a "solo" hobby, there are lots of sweepers out there :o )

The cost is $42/person payable by either mail or paypal...
There will be a dinner buffet, music and dancing, lots of socializing with fellow sweepers....and of course, LOTS of prizes -
We are going to have a 50/30/20, we will do a Gift Card grab with a chance at gifts from $5 - $100, we will a have Maryland loot prize bag that will include Maryland scratch off tickets, a movie in or out prize packet that will include (4) movie tickets and all the essentials for watching movies in - and many other neat prizes.

In addition, we currently have a block of rooms reserved at the Hilton in Gaithersburg - the cost per night is $109 and that includes breakfast for 2 the following morning and van service to and from the banquet (no need to worry about getting lost or how much you had to drink) :o )
Rooms need to booked by April 18 or the rooms will be released to the general public and no guarantee of the price
