As some of you know I had a winning notice back on the 4th of this month about a rug. Then on the 16th I recieved another notice from e-prize saying the win was an error and someone else had won. I was not the only one this happened to. I wrote a letter to e-prize explaining how I felt about what happened. I was very civil and professional in the letter, but firm about how I felt. I recieved a letter today from "Shaw" themselves apoligizing for the error and letting me know that even though it was a technical error that they would send me the rug I chose when I got the winning notice. They said how they designed the promotion to be purely an enjoyable experience to help the consumer become more aware of their flooring options. I have to say, this is admirable for a company to stand behind a win like this even though it wasnt technically their problem and the rules does give them an "out". I know when I go to purchase new flooring next year that Shaw will be the first I check into.

Stacy, if I were there I'd give you a big hug....I'm very happy for you!  Enjoy that rug!

Wow! Great company and customer service. If I win some money I might buy a rug from them, I daily have my eye on one and have mentally placed it several times. Good Show Shaw

mdshek....yes...it was the night of the time change. I guess everything went wacky for a bit that night. I know they shut it down for a few days trying to solve the problem. I am just glad they are standing behind my winning notice even though it was a computer error and they could have stood behind their rules on computer errors. I have a feeling that the time change wasnt considered into things when they set up the counters and times for that sweep. Like I said, just glad they are standing behind the winning notice...:)
